Thank you Gypsy!!
Whatever the cost, I'll arrange a good security system. And I'll inform all clients that I'm not an easy prey. Better to prevent!
I was never really worried about my safety but recently I've been having a bad feeling and don't want to ignore it.

Yes, I was the same. Nothing happened, but I had this feeling I just couldn't ignore.

The alarm I had installed cost 650. And they charge 50 every 12 weeks for the monitoring cost  :) The guy who installed it was really nice. It takes a day to set up. But it's so good!  :)

I had a camera fitted a few years ago outside my rented flat. If landlord asked it was because I have a dog walker, cleaner regularly and wanted to make sure the right people were coming into my flat at the right times and doing their job etc. Was sort of a lie but The landlord was fine about it and just said make good the area you attached it to outside front door when you leave.
It was only small. It sent screen shots of all movement at front door to mobile device and videod those moments.
I've seen maplins do a newer more modern kit now too.
When I move to a new place for work I'll be installing one.

You need to go on AMCO's website. Google AMCO security  :) They were running an offer at the time of 100 off. They usually fit panic alarms in small businesses like corner shops but will happily fit one in your house that wires up to a usual house alarm. All you have to do is press your panic alarm, it takes about 10 seconds for the call to go through and they will ask you if you're okay, or listen in if you're not able to answer and they have the power to phone the police for you etc  :)
