Screening clients
« on: 09 January 2019, 04:24:28 am »
Hi all!  I am new to this line of work and was wondering if anyone could tell me if they screen clients before meeting them.  If so, how do you screen them?  I like to make sure they are not violent, time-wasters, or the police.   Any tips and advice would be appreciated.

I use the client eye app and NUM to check their number, luckily none have slipped through!

The OP isn't in the UK, although she could have made that clearer (and hence the mention of the police).

OP, the people here are mostly in the UK where prostitution is legal, but if you do a search for 'screening' you'll find some general threads which ought to be some help :).

There's a few big sex worker sub reddits that are mostly used and contributed by US sex workers that also might be helpful to you

Not anymore. Reddit shut down everything related to prostitution a while ago.

Is there a website that is specifically for screening clients?
I’m newish and I only to incall, but I’d still like to screen my clients.
Can someone tell me a few ways to do this? Or if there’s websites for something like that or explaining screening?

You could try uploading true caller app on your phone it can display true next to persons name might be  genuine. But saying that men don't use their real names . all the time
Whatsapp does occasionally show their photos.

Neither the OP nor the poster above are in the UK, so their screening is for different things than ours.

Lacey, it's not the easiest site to get on but have you tried P411? There are others, but that's the first site which came to mind :)

I ask for their Linked In information, ask if they're a member of P411, work email, company website, or if I googled their name would I perhaps find any articles written about them? I explain I'm asking this for 2 reasons:
*I'm trying to establish that you are who you say you are.
*I'm trying to find an online footprint for you.

"I don't have an online footprint."

It's simply incredible how often I hear this, & I have the perfect shut them up answer:
"My 86 year old mother has an online footprint. EVERYONE has an online footprint. Please don't play dumb, I'm better at it than you are (ok, I don't really say that part but I'm thinking it)."

There's various others things I'll accept, but if they balk at this stuff I lose interest. Yes I understand I'm asking for personal information. No, I don't do anything with it. No I'm not going to blackmail you, that's a lot of time & effort & I'm far too lazy for all that crap.

YOU contacted ME. I have a very nice website telling you allllll about me. I'm not letting someone I know nothing about coming into my hotel room; I have to protect myself, I'm SURE you understand?
However, I completely get if you're not comfortable with screening, even though the ad states it's needed to see me. There's literally dozens of girls you can see right now who will do no screening whatsoever, & probably for a much lower donation.

Naturally IDK about the quality you'll get from them.....*trails off*.

A little reverse psychology works amazingly well, but a lot dig in their heels & refuse to give me any info, citing "discretion" as their reason.

My answer to that is there's a difference between "anonymous" & "discreet". I will not do anonymous.

Another great way to handle the "Why should I see YOU?" question is ~
"You probably shouldn't. You obviously saw my ad & most certainly should have visited my website. You're capable of making that decision on your own."

Do not engage in that! Oooh but they get MAD when you say that, heeeee!!

I actually don't have an online footprint under my true name.
I paid for a company to have all details of myself removed from google, it was achieved through privacy concerns due to this line of work. Google also complied with my take down notices.
There is absolutely nothing on me on the internet which is searchable by a third party.
Many people request 192 take their details down and they legally have to comply.
Having no online footprint is very achievable sorry to say.
