 ::) so sometimes for me is very hard to control my emotion and so maybe i do not take a booking because i am quite spontaneous..
very bad for business

example today: a text from a guy that already sent 2 texts last week at 1pm for an advanced booking which i didn t reply as his text was poor, without self introduction litterally
 1pm Hi MS, would possible for me to see you today at 730pm for 1hr?
 101pm i have aw feed back
102pm sorry i meant next tuesday, i would like to book in advance
 ??? ::)

i didn t reply to him even the day after...sounds confused or drunk LOL

Today at 1030am i could see you at 730pm for 1hr

i was in a booking till 12noon and i could not answer

To me his first 3 texts sounded reasonable, polite and clear. It's how I would expect a half decent caller to behave, no slang, crudeness, demands or txtspk. He got the date wrong...it happens but he corrected himself. I would probably respond just to suss him out. Or get back to him when I'm in a better mood.

The diary comment...I've had clients say that. Many callers have busy schedules, travelling, meetings, exhibitions, teaching and may have the lunch hour, to have a pee, travel up to me then rush back, so I think that's reasonable to mention. I ask them what they're up to today and they usually explain.

Probably you were just not loving him. I feel like that sometimes. If your gut says no, it has to be no.

I try to be nice but if they push it even so slightly it's blocked and onto the next. I agree with saltysweet. If you have a bad feeling in my opinion it's probably going to make it unpleasant for the both of you. Lol I try not to let it ruin my day. Hate to mean but even with those who have an unpredictable schedule, if they don't know they shouldn't even bother trying to book. Also the lack of respect, meaning you must get back TO HIM because "he" has the busy schedule. I personally find that annoying.

The first one I probably would have given an amber warning in my mind, he could have just been nervous. I Would have replied but payed very close attention to further screening. One more wrong move and it's a no from me!
However you have to always go on your own personal gut feeling, even if you can't put your finger on why. Not great for business but great for personal safety (and avoiding TW)!

The other I'd have just ignored him, your schedule is too busy for his demanding schedule 😆

I do find it hard to deal with all the idiots, but find a deep breath and getting well acquainted with the delete button helpful! If they get on your nerves just ignore and delete/block. They're not paying for your time, yet, so you don't owe them anything, especially not any of your time and energy.

If I'm getting particularly annoyed by the idiots and TWs and unable to hold my tounge, it's usually a sign of burn out for me personally. I take a bit of time off to rest my mind from all the idiots out there!

yes! i mean it! so he wanted a quickly answer and he got it negative! feel like pushed!

yes, Saltysweet you are right...about that was reasonable but i mean why you send a text at 1pm when your brain is fucked up LOL
sleep and you send a text clair without mistake (i should understand mistake but when somebody send by night i do not trust easily)

btw i lost it because pissed me off! many things actually and i try to change and get more. which i do but actually i m still missing something. i was a bit tired too. let s the gut drive me and go forward!

MySecret, Oh scrub everything I said, it was at night!  ??? I didn't read it properly, sorry. You're right, that's a bunch of balls.
But had it been daytime :) I would still consider. We are not always the most important person or event in their schedule.

The message about his diary would have pissed me off too, anything where they're trying to push you for a response when you don't reply straightaway is off-putting. But his first few messages didn't seem bad to me.
