Clingy timewasters
« on: 06 December 2009, 04:26:22 pm »
Hey everyone

I'm sure there's a topic on this somewhere, but for some reason typing things in search brings 0 topics everytime, so sorry and here goes...

I seem to have found myself one of those clingy timewasters. This guy first got in touch a couple of weeks ago wanting to do a photoshoot and a booking. Then he changed his mind, just wanting to do the shoot. Then he changes it again, just wanting the booking (when I told him shoot wouldn't allow any 'interaction'). He seemed very reluctant to make booking request on AW and everytime we've semi arranged a time, he's cancelled.

Anyway, he disappeared for a few days, and now last night and today he's been texting me about making a booking. Tried sending me pics and getting me into conversation about life in general and how he needs 'cheering up'. Wouldn't mind if it were through the AW system and I was getting paid for it lol, but unless he's actually going to make a booking, I'd rather he just went and vaguely irritated someone else!

Any suggestions on how to resolve this? I mean, am I even right about him sounding like a timewaster? (I am kinda new to this and he's the first guy I've had this issue with)

Thanks muchly!

Alexa xx

He not only sounds like a timewaster, he sounds like a total pain in the arse; if he is that reluctant to use the AW booking system it's more than likely because he intends to mess you about and knows he will get negative feedback for it.

I would just block him so he can't contact you again - I can't imagine you will ever see a penny off him so it's not going to be any great loss. If you haven't been advertising on there for long you'll get stacks of these idiots trying to take advantage - it does fizzle out if you bear with it ;).

You will come across guys like this in your escorting career - they can start to take up your time, before you  know where you are you are engaging in friendly chat by email or text on an hourly basis. They end up draining your energy and telling them politely often only encourages them to get even worse.

If I were you I wouldn't reply to any messages regarding personal lives. Stick to booking only discussion and if it carries on just block him.

Hiya,

Funny this post was started as i just got some text message that i think is unprofessional.

Basically   after getting norepsonse from any of the London except the one who wanted my 300 pounds. i appliedto agencies in my region.

One i am starting with on Monday and the other one........well i just got a txt to say "Hi thanks for applying to join............ agency. where you live not where do you live? " Signed off with guys name.

Now is this  a timewaster? Surely this is unprofessional and secondly I put on the online form where i live so he cant have read my application very carefully.

this is annoying as if all  falls through with monday agency doesnt look like I have a back up...............

Oh and by the way alexaf that guy definiteyy sounds like  a compete timewatser so my advice dont waste your  time

Alexa, just don't reply and as Amy said block him on AW and on your phone if you can.

One thing I sometimes do with a persistent text pest is send him a text saying you will only enter into a text conversation if he prepays it by sending you the voucher code for 'xyz' phone vouchers at 10p per text reply. Funny how I hardly ever hear from them again. Result! 8)

What does that even mean? ??? I would expect a phone call in response to an agency application, if they are interested in having you join them. They'll need to set up an interview with you in a safe, public place where you can talk openly (but quietly!) about commission, photos, services, etc etc. A little bit of a text chat is hardly starting off on the right foot.

I would probably dismiss this second agency as your backup, beebuzz. Is everything still going okay with your first choice?

not sure if i read it right but if they are sending  driver to collect you, just try if possible to let someone know where you are going  and leave the contact number  ect with someone that you trust   ( if at all possible )
there are a lot of weirdos out there preying on newbies to this business
Even if it mean writing down the car number which collect you  or even  text it to a spare phone ect as a record ect   i have a natrually suspicious mind most of the time  ;D
Unless of course its a well established agency or you have ref from another girl

He text me again last night and I sent back one text saying if he wanted to have a conversation he'd have to use the AW chat system thing. Funny how he never replied ;)

HAHA, isn't it strange how their ardour cools when they have to stick their hand in their pocket for more than a rub of their willy?
