While researching this new cryptocurrency/ payment platform for the adult industry https://intimate.io/
I came across this website https://rende.vu/
(the same guy is the founder it seems)

It looks like they secured initial funding, launched almost a year ago and despite some marketing buzz and few articles in the press, it's a dead end.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Seeing this unfinished project makes me a bit apprehensive about their cryptocurrency start up $:-\$

I read a Buzzfeed article and Rende.vu advertise themselves as 'An Uber for Escorts', so it's based on the same principle as Uber basically.
The only vetting the client has to go through is submitting ID and a credit card.
Once he does this, he can book any escort without any further vetting, no phone call etc. Not great.

So this app works in Australia and was supposed to be implemented here?

I tried this when it was first released, didn't get very far despite spending some time trying to get it set up. Not sure if this was the one which uses a messaging app, or the one which required your exact address - or an exact address which it would release to anyone who booked you. The idea was to send new clients the directions they needed to get to any incall booking.

No vetting and no restrictions with showing my exact address? NO THANKS.
(Oh, just re-read your post Mirror and maybe it could be set up for just some address in the area)

I'm reading about this blockchain stuff and it sounds quite promising.

Edit: Aaaaaah, after searching 'Uber for escorts' on here I found 2 juicy threads in the Lion's Den - the last one being from 2017 and regarding 'Fuber' (?)

Second edit: Not much Reve.nue in this Rende.vu ! ehehehe

Hardly fair on occupants to use someone else's address, also I'd bet clients would follow it there. Too much to go wrong.
