Rejecting a client asking for a date
« on: 27 April 2021, 01:27:22 pm »
Hi how can I politely reject clients who ask for a date by text after bookings? Without being mean or rude .

I don't think saying something like, 'I don't date clients' is rude or mean. Then you get the boring, lovestick-lamb bleating to change your mind.

I guess you still want their money but don't want to piss them off.
But he's imposing and nagging you isn't he?

Personally, I'd ignore, block and ban as it's likely some skewed obsession for romance or free sex and who needs the drama! But that's me.

I’d say something like “I’m flattered but I never date clients”. If he didn’t drop it immediately and kept pushing then I’d block him as any future bookings would be so awkward.

Just say if you mean you want free appointments that is not something i offer. I only see clients for payment.

"Thank you but I never date clients. My husband wouldn't like it."

'No' is a complete sentence, so even just saying 'no, thank you' if a client asks you for a date is more than enough.

I'd probably do as saltysweet suggests and block him too.

I’ll deliberately misunderstand them and excitedly say that I’d love to do that, & my rates for 3 or 4 hour dinner dates are on my website & here, let me send you the link!!! When were you wanting to do this? Do you prefer the 3 or the 4 hour? You know, I had dinner at the Capital Grille a few months back ... *begins rhapsodizing*....

They’ll get it, & you’ve honestly not been ugly.

Recently a client spent the majority of his ninety minute booking trying to persuade me out on a date, reassuring me that we'd have incredibly naughty fun... I'm not being funny but he was in his late fifties, was pretty vanilla, which is fine but my vids are pretty 'adventurous', and he's never even tried anal. To top it all off he wore a wedding ring and definitely had a wife at home ;)
