Registered pay as you go sim cards abroad.. risky?
« on: 11 November 2018, 08:29:49 pm »
Hi guys I'm in France with a Lebara pay as you go sim card. However I have just received a text (after 2 weeks of use already) saying that I have to register my sim card online with my passport and indentity details. My number is available on the escort site that I am advertising on so technically I could be traced with my full.identity back to my phone number.. is this normal and would you put your details in?

Or is there a way around it?

Thanks!!

Several countries have laws like this - there are ones where you can't get a SIM without official ID.
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."
