If your not verified you will not show in any searches that a member performs for authentic profiles.

Just a comment, not directed at any post.

Not strictly true - I am fully verified but I still do not come up if someone runs a search for 'verification' since I don't show my verification photo on my profile. Whereas someone who has simply added their face pic, and date without sending ID WILL show up.

So it's rubbish really.

Sorta two different things your talking about their though isnt it?

If the member sends an image with the piece of paper etc and it resembles the pictures in the profile then this profile is verified. So this member will show up, with or without ID.

AW have two verification processes/systems.

Adding the ID simple says, Im over 18 and extra verification that the images have permission to be used.

If you dont show you have been verified then its your issue, not AW's tbh.

The search is designed to show members who make it publicly shown that they are verified. If you chose not to be shown as verified then its right you will also not show in the search listings. As you would expect.

Strawberry is saying, I believe, that she has completed both forms of verification fully, but because she chooses not to reveal the face picture publicly, she gets no search benefits from giving Adultwork all of this personal information. Which is rubbish.

Many escorts will choose not to show their face - because those of us who meet men for paid sex in real life need to be more cautious about many things - and Adultwork really has no business punishing us for that. It's another example of people trying to tell sex workers how to run their own businesses, while sitting comfortably on their fancy leather sofas at home. And for that, Adultwork may suck my toe - if a better site comes along one day, that truly prioritises escorts' safety and health, I'd abandon bloody AW in a shot. I'm glad its camming system makes you happy but I think AW prioritises its own profits far above providing serious benefits to sex workers and so I can't say I feel quite so loyal to it.

I chose not to have my face photo on the front of my profile - that's the only choice I've made and it is available elsewhere, I just for obvious reasons don't want it too obvious.

So yes that is my choice however one that is a very popular, often necessary choice made by a lot of sex workers and not recognised by AW. So after sending personal documents, face pic with name and date on I get no benefit apart from a green tick saying I'm fully verified, only once someone has entered my profile. Since we know that guys don't read everything on the profile, and often have no knowledge of the inner workings of AW I very much doubt they even notice know what that means.

I think if you only use adultwork as a way of working without  a website and other reports /reviews ect from other well known sites then it could be a valuable as there are a lot of fakes profile on there
however i have never bothered to verify myself  dont see the point  guys can see my website my other reviews and blogs and twitter and decided for themselves if im genuine or not
