Maybe he was nervous or just very friendly? I have had a few guys phone where I cant get a word in but it really is not a concern to me at all infact it helps put me at ease if someone is friendly and chatty.

As far as his comment about having respect and understanding what us ladies do and why, he probably just means that he understands that the majority of us do this job to either get through studies, provide for children or trying to set ourselves up for our not so distant future. The fact he respects what we do is a good thing cause it tells me that he also respects what I offer and wouldn't try to take the piss.

I could be completely wrong as you never know until you meet the person but a guy like this wouldn't put me off or worry me.
