Hi,

So I have now had some time away from this industry, escaped the "lovely" agency(!) and finally for the first time ever, want to be an indie... no pimping ex's controlling me and writing my profiles, no people telling me what to do, I will do it all :)

I'm currently staying at home with my Mum in Inverness though after a mini breakdown from uni. I am working full time in a job but it's an agency sort of job (not escorting) so work is either a feast or a famine. I don't have a car either at the minute, having to rely on her to take me to and from my work as the bus service is crap. I am doing overtime when I can in my normal job to save for a car as I hate being so dependant.

Unfortunately, I am awaiting to hear back from my course regarding a module outcome which I appealed but if I had to redo it, it wouldn't be until February. I hate this waiting game and hate not working as an escort. In fact, I miss it terribly.

What does anyone think I should do? Save up to get a car first and move out? Financially stuck at the minute due to this job. I really do hate being back at home and miss being independant. Also, for anyone who knows Inverness if they have toured etc, what is it like? Do you get many clients? Hotel outcalls?

Just want to get back in the saddle with this!  :'(

Hey

I have worked in Inverness, its a small place so its not as busy as Glasgow or anything but I still found that it was worth my while when I went there each time.

I'd say save some money up so that you can pay for a hotel for a few days then in those few days try to get as much money as possible so you can move out.

I'd say moving out is better than getting a car cause you cant work and live in your car.

Totally agree with PP. I would, if you are comfortable do outcalls as well if you can not afford to book a hotel, that way you are still getting an income whilst you are waiting. Please be overcautious and do all your safety checks.

I do only outcalls at the moment, it's not as busy as incalls I would imagine and this is London. I couldn't possible say for other areas.

I agree with the other ladies, start saving up to move out, rather than the car. There have been times towards the end of the month when I have been down to my last ?20, spent that on a taxi to an outcall and made enough to ensure my rent and bills was paid by the first of the next month. I definitely think starting back to escorting would be a great way to save up while you work this other job.

Another thing to think of I guess is the place you rent when you have saved enough up. I wish I'd chosen a workable apartment to rent a few months ago, because I didn't want to do incalls at the time but I do now and haven't the option of working from home, so even if you're not thinking of incalls in the future it isn't a bad idea in case you change your mind.

I'm sure you'll have enough saved up in no time, I always spend less when I'm at my parents for a while! Good luck!
I like my men clean, gentlemanly and with envelopes...

Does your mum know you are an escort? If so you'll have troubles explaining outcalls.

If outcalls is not an option then def try to save some money from your civvie job to pay for a hotel so you can do incalls.

If you are only doing it PT then just find some hotels and rotate between booking into them for a day a week or two days, you can still leave to sleep at home overnight then just go back to the hotel the next day as you will still have the key. Try to find either large busy hotels or a hotel where the rooms are in a separate building to the actual reception/restaurant that way the guys don't have to encounter reception.

Never advertise the hotel you are staying in, just give the hotel address to the guys booked in once they have confirmed on the morning they are due to see you and don't give your room number till they are in the car park. Don't take withheld numbers either x

re outcalls. If you have a car then just tell your mum you are going for a night out, get everything you need in your boot and advertise as available for outcalls. A friend of mine used to sit in the services cafe in between bookings then just drive over there when she got one. You don't have to keep going home and going out again but it does mean some nights you will be spending a lot of time in service cafes, its perfectly workable though especially once you get going and your rep is built x
