The trouble is when you block a number, they'll get the "Sorry, your call cannot be answered" or similar message, and they'll soon work out they've been blocked and change their number. If I just let it ring out every time then they will hopefully think I'm just busy.

My blocker has different options, one of those is no message.

Which app do you use mirror? Or is that on the Android system?

personally I think op should tell the looney politely but firmly that you do not see disrespectful people then just ignore him never reply with anger as he could be a cheap skate looking for domination for free tragic I know but it happens then just ignore them hope this helps

It's an app for a very old blackberry, I can't block on my personal phone Android, not investigated the options.

I have had some abuse /troubles from one of the clients who called me names when I asked him to give me the appointment time as he was JUST expecting me to "just hang around until he shows up one evening"!  When I said, "no, I can't do that, I need the fixed time" he essentially gave me a barrage of abuse at that point.  Previously, I was made to wait over an hour when the appointment time was set up.  There's something wrong with him (well, clearly!).  He then recently, approached me AGAIN asking for a booking.  Looked like he started a new account. But I did not want to say I wouldn't see him in case he goes abusive etc (I'm sure that you get where I am coming from).   :)

How do you deal with this type of clients?   :-\

You ignore and block, you do not owe clients anything other than your time and if a client is being abusive or just icky it is your perogative as an indie to say no and ignore his calls or requests for a booking.  THis is a business not a love affar.
