I have had some abuse /troubles from one of the clients who called me names when I asked him to give me the appointment time as he was JUST expecting me to "just hang around until he shows up one evening"! When I said, "no, I can't do that, I need the fixed time" he essentially gave me a barrage of abuse at that point. Previously, I was made to wait over an hour when the appointment time was set up. There's something wrong with him (well, clearly!). He then recently, approached me AGAIN asking for a booking. Looked like he started a new account. But I did not want to say I wouldn't see him in case he goes abusive etc (I'm sure that you get where I am coming from).

How do you deal with this type of clients? $:-\$

Block and ignore!

You owe him nothing. No explanation is necessary.

He will only pester you if you let him.

As MM says, you don't owe him anything.

I've set up a new AW account recently and find myself being tested by clients I previously found difficult to deal with during enquiry stage or at the point of meeting. Stand your ground.

I don't always block and for those I suspect who are guilty of consistently setting up new accounts, I pop their comms in a separate folder. Often they use similar names, messages and it means I can keep track of them at a later date. X

Block and ignore, if they carry on I will advise that I'll be seeking advice from the police if they persist. Usually gets the message across, and yes I have sought further advice on a couple of occasions.

I turn down wankers like this all the time. I stand my ground and choose to see whom I wish to see. I blocked one of these twats on AW so I unfortunately couldn't respond to his 'feedback only'. (Probably just as well! )When you block them they can still put a booking request through - the tits.

I chose not to see him for a variety of reasons. I'm not letting some arrogant cunt fuck me just because I charge for it!

Rant over. It makes me so damn mad that some of us worry over this pond life.

I don't block them on AW or my phone, I just make sure I have them saved as "Don't see again" and some pertinent notes about them on my phone contact (which is synced to my ringfenced work gmail account, so can be recovered if I have to change phones or numbers.) If they happen to get through to me then "I'm sorry, I'm fully booked" does the trick. If they then ask "When will you be free" I'll say "I may have availability on Wednesday next week but you'd need to call on the day" and then oh what do you know, I'm still fully booked

VC, I appreciated your helpful post. It's a great approach if I had the patience of the saints & compassion for clients, who have challenging special needs e.g. anger, abuse etc.....

Don't get me wrong, I usually ignore their calls. I only tend to run into this when I'm texting another client and the undesirable rings while I'm texting and I accidentally press the accept button

It`s what I do, block and forget and never get annoyed by them again.

The trouble is when you block a number, they'll get the "Sorry, your call cannot be answered" or similar message, and they'll soon work out they've been blocked and change their number. If I just let it ring out every time then they will hopefully think I'm just busy.
