I found Ann Summers holdups horrible! They roll back. M&S are the best for me.
I'm glad I got all the Cynthia Payne books before the prices rocked to sky high.

Haven't tried Ann Summers but M&S ones roll back with me unless I wear them ridiculously low.

Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

yes defo the marks and spencers ones are brillant and have an excellent range of colours and shades.... for fishnet hold ups you can beat ann summers at ?8.00 but they often do 3 for 2  :)xxx

The best hold ups for me are the ones of Primark.
Very cheap and good quality. Wont roll back.
Ann Summers ones are bad yes.

I used to use Primarks  years ago and they were brilliant and so cheap  but its Marks & Sparks all the way for me as they just don't run and last forever

I used to like primark hold ups but I find the seam placement at the top to be really weird.

I find Fiore Hold Ups the absolute best, they have thick bands at the top and hug the thigh beautifully with no roll down ..... they do tons of styles in all denier, they don't ladder easily, just perfect !

Search Ebay for best prices :

Tesco used to do good ones. Maybe they still do.

If they're anything like their tights they wont go over my fat thighs :-)

marks and spencers are the best - but theyve stopped doing my fave opaque ones!! grr!

i have to wear them proper high over my flabby bits  ;D

as to whether its inappropriate to not wear them...i mostly wear them unless theyre all in the laundry and somestimes if its hot or im in a rush.
for outcalls i often wear tights on the way then ask if they would like me to change into stockings - they often say 'nah love dont bother'.

And for those of you that want suspender belts ( but not those little wispy piece of string ones that are basically a scrap of cotton and are not very forgiving unless you are a size 0

then these are brilliant  i buy them and cut out the knicker bit and voila  perfect suspender belt  they wash well, and the straps are removable as well   and for ?10 you cant go wrong i have loads of them over the years  but when i throw them out i keep the straps as its sod law you will put one on sometime and they will break
