A TW question
« on: 04 December 2008, 08:35:21 am »
Quick question, I read through the SAAFE section about wasters. Here's one that was mentioned: Some get jealous and its been known for them to make false bookings with their perceived competition (wouldn't it be great if we stuck together). "When they phone you and ask what your rates are Durrrrrrr its on the website.

whats up with this lately? I've been getting all these emails asking what my rate is, can someone possibly be playing some sort of game on me? This week I've had to tell 2 or 3 guys to just go back and read my profile, my rate is right there!

I get it all the time.  SOmetimes i put it down to a timewaster but usually only when it is followed by loads of other questions that are answered on my website.

Most of the time i think its nerves.  They dont know how to start the conversation and some find it difficult to just jump in and make the booking so attempt a bit of chit chat first.

I also think sometimes they jsut arent at their pc when they call and genuinely dont remember the rate they saw on the site.  They probably look at a few at a time and perhaps take a couple of phone numbers down then call when its more convienient and just forget who said how much.

Nothing sinister, i wouldnt worry about it.

Bloody hell UA, I think you need a hobby. They are asking you your rates because they are too lazy too read your profile properly - I get calls every day from men who start by saying 'I'm looking at your website and...' and within a minute they have asked where I am, how old I am, what my rates are and so on. So does every other escort in the country, I would think.

It's not a conspiracy and it's not just you. They are also probably trying to talk you down a bit - if they start a conversation about how much a particular booking would be (a long one for example, or one at very short notice), it's usually because they're trying to get a discount on the published fee.

Another explanation could be that some unscrupulous webmaster has lifted your profile details and put them elsewhere, without the proper or incorrect information. That's a common thing to happen.
