I saw the  punterink link ............... is this the best place to try for genuine agencies? I mean the date of post is 2008 so is it up to date enough? I ooked at the ist and i recognise afew from google?

Punterlink and Punternet are the two biggest national directories and I'm not sure about pnet but I know plink has a team of staff. Being listed on there doesn't guarantee anything, but they won't link to agencies that they've heard dodgy things about so it's where I'd go if I was looking.

Wait, 2008? What are you talking about? I suggested punterlink in your other thread yesterday. You don't need a new thread for every variation on your question.
