Many people have tried Punternet and not had much business out of it. 

I tried it say a year or so ago and got the same response.  I wouldnt recommend to anyone but that is just my personal view.

Someone else may have made thousands out of it ............. if they did though ................. I'd like to know how.

Yup when I had an ad up I got 1 booking in 6 months so no good for me.......therefore wouldnt recommend it for our area either; must work better elsewhere.

Thanks for the heads up ladies. I have heard quite a few girls say this but then lots of other girls, especially the long serving established ones,  swear by Punternet, so it's a tricky one I guess.

I've known about Punternet for a while but always refrained from advertising on there because I just get a really bad vibe from the sort of creepy guys that seem to live in the forums there. The Eternal Optimist in me says that?s probably because the good guys are too busy visiting girls to pay for sex rather than sitting in a room and talking shit.

Yeah, I've generally found that on a site with listings and a forum, the forum-dwellers are only a tiny weeny minority of site visitors and really don't represent the clients who are just using the site to find their next escort, because the latter group have neither the time nor the inclination to spend all day just talking about having sex with prostitutes.

I mean, if you look at the female posters on Pnet forums and then look at the gazillions of escorts listed on the site or reviewed on there, the forum-posters are definitely a tiny minority. So I'm guessing it's the same with the men although of course I can't check Galahad's site stats to see exactly how many blokes are browsing the listings and reviews every day... but I think any of us who've had a review posted have received 1000s of hits to our site on that day so it looks like a helluva lot more people use the site for information than for having unpleasant conversations with trolls and ENDLESS tedious arguments about whether a prossie should have the radio on during a booking or not etc. Thankfully!

I'm in London and find my ad (and reviews) on there to be well worth the fee, especially when compared to London-Independents or Eros-London (?33 and ?94 per month respectively!). So, yeah, you won't find me complaining about ?15 for Pnet - especially as you never have to go and look at the forum if you're of delicate constitution like me.

I really wouldn't worry about google ranking, word of mouth and the press  make up for it.

Just as an aside, if you google for search engines google doesn't come top, and only has a page rank of 9/10, I really do have too much time on my hands this week.
