The other thing to remember is that calls don't always equate to actual bookings. Many missed calls who phone back will require someone who offers incalls (I don't), are in a location which is way out of my area or don't realise where I'm based, or are looking for a service or price I don't offer.

Remembering this helps me get over it!

I've answered loads of calls and then wished I hadn't. Sometimes a lack of enquiries can be a blessing in disguise.

I don't always work Tuesdays but I have often found it is worth keeping the mobile on so I don't miss potential bookings for other days.

Sometimes guys ring or text and aren't available in the immediate future to make a booking so it is still worth having a wee chat or answer any questions.

I think from now on I will try and keep my phone on most of the daytime even after I have finished.

It is also worth revisiting which days we have 'off' sometimes as like I say other days can be more fruitful.

It can get quite wearing when various numpties ring or text however!
