I have a regular like this. I've seen him several times so he's pretty comfortable with me and knows I'm not judgmental, so when he starts to feel too excited we have a code word and we just stop what we're doing and sit and talk for a bit, when he's ready to start up again he'll initiate it. Everyone is different but for me, I wouldn't go down this route....you just don't know what's in it, and they guy might have some sort of reaction (even something as small as a rash from the herbs) and it's on you.

Personally, I'd tactfully encourage him to masturbate beforehand.  Or, start the session with a quick HJ before the main event.  I do as another girl suggested, stop and chat for a bit when they get close, then restart when they are ready.
