Using Clare's Law regarding a client
« on: 11 April 2024, 02:49:56 pm »
Clare’s Law, also known as the Domestic Violence Disclosure Scheme (DVDS) is a police policy giving people the right to know if their current or ex-partner has any previous history of violence or abuse.

As far as I know, reporting a crime against a client is classified as Intimate Partner Violence.
Has anyone used Clare's Law regarding a client?

I was listening to a BBC podcast "Assume Nothing: Femicide". In one of the episodes, it was mentioned that Clare's Law is not widely known but could help with assessing the risk of future violence.
