Potential clients who say they aren't cops

I had been ignoring people who specifically said "I am not involved with law enforcement/I am not a cop/etc" because it just felt...weird. But I just got a message from someone who sounded very genuine (he was scheduling for a month and a half in advance). And now I'm not so sure. What do you all make of potential clients who say something like that?

The majority of the members here are in the UK where we don't have to worry abou the police, because nobody's breaking the law :).

Assuming you're in the US, how are you screening prospective clients? If you're not confident about somebody who's made contact with you it's fine to ask for references from other ladies they've seen (again, assuming you don't use any of the screening sites) but either way I wouldn't take somebody who wanted to book that far ahead seriously unless I'd seen them before.

I would be less worried about people who say they are not cops.

Cops would not mention anything to do with the work they are trying to do while undercover and doing it would they really?

We as escorts are undercover our self with our work and the LAST thing we do is mention or even insinuate we work in the sex industry if we are trying to get into a relationship or around our family so neither would the cops when trying to bust someone!

Granted I'm not based in the States, but in all the times I've worked there I have never, ever had a genuine punter say 'I am not a cop', or similar - the real ones who want to actually book and come along don't bring the subject up at all. I'd assume anybody who stuck this nugget in was doing similar to what we get here with 'I'm genuine, I'm not a timewaster!' and was therefore a timewaster ;D.

In America? Yes they would. They probably wouldn't bring it up because that's weird but if you ask them they'll certainly deny it.

Thanks for that Kimberly. There was an urban myth that if you asked a police officer directly whether he was a police officer he was obliged to tell the truth and admit it, and it was incredible how many people believed it. It makes you wonder how they thought drug gangs and organised crime kingpins ever got caught :).
