Potential Client.. Genuine or Bullsh**er
« on: 02 May 2016, 03:36:16 am »
Good evening Ladies!

So I just received this email from this guy who claims he wants me to escort on him on his 5 day trip to South Africa for business. He says he would pay me $1,500 a day, and also say he need my suit and shoe size. I told him we need to have a phone conversation before I accept anything. I'm asking because this isn't the first time a client has flew me out to see them before. So what do you ladies think?

This sounds like a common scam thats about, in which they will require your passport details (think of the emails we all get saying there's a problem with our PayPal and they require our name, dob, address etc).

Say you require him to pay a deposit (say 30% of total fee + travel costs), if it's a genuine client he should be happy to pay this.

But I am guessing he will say he requires your details so he can book tickets etc.

Also even if genuine, 5 days is a long time to spend with someone you haven't met, that's a long time to pretend you find someone attractive if you don't.

And would you be expected to be with them 24/7 and sex on demand or would you you have time to yourself?

These are all things to think about.

I can't imagine any sane person would offer to pay a stranger to spend five full days with them in a foreign country. He doesn't even know if you'd get along!

Even if it is genuine, I would avoid. X

I had the same e-mail. It's a popular scam. He strings you along then tells you need to pay your 300 pounds south african visa. I think he's targeting the sex industry around the workd because he thinks that what we do is illegal so we're not going to fill a police complaint.

I've heard of this too but never had the email. Avoid it, you won't get any money and end up being out of pocket yourself. I bet these scammers are great at giving believable reasons why you should give them a "deposit" to cover "expenses" but not at giving you any money up front!

In my experience (primarily hearsay), guys who are "genuine" are also a bit stingy. They figure they're taking you on a holiday and that you should be happy with flight, room, board, their company and maybe a tiny bit of pocket money. Even telling them that you'll want to make what you'd have made at home (plus flight, room and board) turns a lot of them off.

Beware guys who offer a lot of money up front.

Sounds like a Nigerian prince to me! (Don't go on out-of-town trips with men that you haven't already met).
