Warrington and Manchester aren't in London, to think of two examples at least some folk here might recall. I've just got back from New York and it didn't even cross my mind.

Leaving that aside, can we remember to keep it work-based please?

No fucking way! That's exactly what these retards want. (And I was close to two of the bombs on 7/7.)

Also, in terms of working in London, clients aren't going to go away. No company is going to tell their staff to work from home just because of a potential terrorist threat.

Not to sound dismissive of the deaths in Paris, but no one can realistically 'take out' a country by killing a bit over hundred people at a time. They CAN however achieve their goals if people start panicking, the daily life gets disrupted significantly enough and if government will start making poor legislative decisions to combat the threat. Long story short, people being afraid and ceasing their normal activity is exactly what they are going for.

I am avoiding London yea, I was going to go down in December but absolutely not. There's the normal risk of going to London but its on high risk at the moment. There are plenty of other places to tour. Not going to stop me going anywhere else though I can't avoid all high traffic areas lol

My dad saw a bus blow up the last attacks a few yards away from him in the street so its not like it doesn't happen to you.

I live in London and I am outcall only, and I use public transport 90% of the time. So I am on th tube more than an average person, and I must say there were times when I got off a train when there was a dodgy looking guy acting nervous and looking around. But what can I do? This is where I live, where I earn my money, where all the friends are... Driving myself is also not an option in London for me. So all I can do is to hope for the best.

Resilience ? that?s what we have to be!!! That?s what London showed after 7/7. I don't know how the escorting/adult industry was affected but I do know that people did use the tube and public transport the next day.

Yes we need to be more cautious and alert with respect to our local environment. Green ? there are lots of nervous people in London and it may be for the same reason we all are, worried that something might happen. We cannot stop working or trying to earn a living. Take care all

Not foolproof of course but Friday is the holy day of the week under Islaam (like Sunday is - or used to be- in the UK).

The Paris and Mali attacks were both on Fridays for this reason, because this day holds a particular religious significance.

So whilst of course it's not as simple as just being careful on Fridays, anyone that is very worried about planning certain trips for certain days might decide they want to bear it in mind.

I live in Belgium close to french border, but far away from Brussels where they locked half of the city down. I feel sorry for the workers in Paris and Brussels as before christmas they may not make enough money to support their families. I went to city closer to Brussel and they were gunmans everywhere, like on the war. But I felt safer beacause of them. I also had a bit dropped down the bussines the week since friday. Now it picked up a bit.
He came in the morning and woke me up with killer instinct. Wish I could stop this now.
