I might be getting this wrong but displaying your number can cost up to ?2 a day now - depending upon how you upload credits.

That's actually a lot more than some sites ask for for profile listings.

It does have listings for other places too, but a quick look finds only 16 female escorts in Canada on there.

I suspect that's an underestimate of the real number :)

It probably will not have the critical mass of potential clients to make it worth paying for any of the added features, but at this point, you're going to be on the first page of listings anyway :)

I agree and have never paid for any added features on AW - why would I spend ?500+ a year on this when clients can click through to my website and find my mobile number (and far more information) for nothing? I have heard it said that we 'can't be serious' if we don't show our numbers, which is fine; the sort of idiot who would think that is not my client (I am speculating, but I daresay that these are also the guys who can't understand why they can't see me in half an hour's time, or why I won't take an same-day outcall booking at ten o'clock at night ::)).

I think it depends on the person, and the location. I have had the new girl rush, and the established escort repeat business. I think I am also one of the few ladies who moves around a bit more than some of the others. What I find with touring, is you are never in the same place long enough to exhaust the client base, so when I return to a place I get new and old business, which keeps the figures up at the new girl level. But there are drawbacks to this as well, I have larger costs.
Plus something else, when business starts to get a bit slow, I change my photos,  my look, up date my site, and offer specials. It seems to work. I have been working for about a year now.

I agree that paying ?1 A DAY on AW, ?365 a year is a huge amount, compared to cheaper forms of advertising.  However, I have found it is worth its weight in gold - or foldied notes. 

The strike rate on my private gallery is higher, so it is self funding anyway.  Plus it has doubled my actual bookings in the last month.  If only I didn't have another job that leaks cash, i would be a happy bunny.  I love AW, it rocks.

I do have a website, and it costs about ?35 a month, the same as having a phone number on AW.  I get about 5 bookings a month from the website so its worth doing, but about 40-50 from AW. I haven't had a single job from Punternet and that is ?15 a month. No brainer.
