Parlour work
« on: 29 August 2015, 02:34:23 pm »
Hello, I'm considering Parlour work I am a single parent who already works full time, I can only do one day a week, evening work not an option. Do any of you ladies know what kind of money I could earn?

Parlours in different areas set different rates.

I worked in one for a short time, 2 shifts as it wasn't me and I am much happier being independent, I was getting ?30 for half hour and ?50 for 1 hour 6 years ago.

Yes indie would be my preferred option longer term, but right now I'm on my arse, no money for advertising etc, don't even possess lap top at the moment :-[   What would the average number of clients you would see during a day shift?

If you use a smart phone you can make your ads from it and AW cost not much to advertise on in. It is for free and just 1gb to show you phone number.

I didn't know that. I would have to go the hotel In call route, but read that Saturdays - the only day I can work -are quiet for escorts in my city. But then guess the same could be said for parlours...

You can book a cheap hotel to start or look also at hotels witch you can take it for a few hours and give it a try or you can advertise as doing oucalls only for a minimum 1h

Thanks for the advice ladies, as I need to get on my feet quickly I worry that I will waste a day (time poor as well as ?? poor!) due to time wasters when I could be earning at the parlour, but if the hotel in call/ out call went well that would be great.

Hi Scarlet,

Most people on here are indie and generally speaking not so much in favour of parlours and agencies.  I will say that I agree in 99% of cases indie is the best route.  But I also understand what you are saying about needing to just get started, and I also know sometimes girls don't want to go indie straight away until they get a feel for the business.

So parlours, really it's not possible for us to say how busy it would be, it's impossible to know.  In cities with multiple parlours it's often the case that some are busy and some aren't.  The parlour itself will almost always tell you it's very busy, as they want girls to work there.  Plus everyone is different anyway, some parlours cater for BBWs for example, if you aren't BBW you aren't likely to be busy in those places.  Others may cater for girls under size 10, if you are over that, you aren't likely to be very busy.  It's normally just a case of trial and error, work in a few and see how it goes.

The best way I can think of trying to find out is to google and look on some punting forums at reviews of the parlour/parlours in your city.

Good luck, and sorry, I know it's not overly helpful.

Scarlet, I worked in a girl-run flat before I went
indy so I get where you're coming from.
Have you done sex work before?

I'd think parlours have their timewasters and oddballs too. ;)
But you only loose your time...not a hotel  fee, yes.

Well an old guy used to pay me to spank my bum, but that was pre mummy days! and he just came round to my flat, but no , no sex work before. I'm wondering now if I should change my working day to a week day (using leave from my main job initially) as this appears to be busier for escorts in my area, or am I being foolish trying to second guess this?                                                                         [  The security of being in parlour does appeal to me as a newbie, but the lack of control of who I see does not, read the Ways of Working Section on here, was very helpful in flagging up the pitfalls. In my area the quality of parlour varies a lot, I see at as a stepping stone rather than long term.

Hi,

I started in a parlour at the end of July and I think I might be in the minority but mine is lovely, open 7 days a week and you can pick the days you work and how many.
I work in a smallish town but it's between a few major cities so it's fairly busy, I'm only doing two days a week but I'll see between 5 to 8 clients each shift on average and I'm earning between three and four hundred each shift.
I think it's good, easy(ish) money as it fits around my lifestyle well but I think it really does depend on what kind of parlour you end up in.
If you're seriously thinking about it the worst you can do is try it and not like it, it might be great for you or you might think you're better off going indie etc.

Hope it all goes well if you decide to try it out!

xxx
