Just a really quick one - I'm more of a touring escort, so when I'm working, it can get a bit painful after a busy day, as my body just isn't used to that much action.
I've got another busy day lined up, so is paracetamol or ibuprofen best for getting through it? I do all the usual stuff like making sure I use plenty of lube and I try to make sure clients aren't too enthusiastic when using their hands. I don't want to be caught wincing halfway through an appointment later!

Of the over the counter painkillers, ibuprofen is the one with the anti-inflammatory effect.

Sudocrem or even something with a mild anaesthetic like Lanacane is good for the end of the day if it's really stingy. It's not much help between bookings as you'd be constantly washing it back off again, but you can plaster it on once you've finished and it'll be a lot less painful in the morning :).

Thanks for the advice - I'm now dosed up with ibuprofen and a tub of good old Sudocrem is on standby! You have to power on and make hay whilst the sun shines ;)

I know it's a problem but if it's that painful and you need to use pain killers, I would stop and let yourself heal!
You might lose money but being sore opens you up to infection and more serious problems. Causing prolonged stress to your body is not good in the long run.

The problem is having no activity and then trying to do too many clients in one go. This job tones you up without you realising it, but you have to go steady until you are used to it. I couldn't rely on painkillers, and I don't think they'd really do much anyway. Doesn't sound good either way.

neurofen plus! (the strongest over the counter pain medication) addictive so short term use only but has gotten me through more than a couple of bad ones!! - just watch the codeine in it doesnt make you sleepy!

That's exactly it - I only do a two or three day tour once a month, so I go from having no sex at all, to suddenly having loads. The first day is always fine, it's always the second one that catches up with me.
The ibuprofen was great, it really made a difference. It's not a matter of being too busy all the time and needing to give my body a rest, it's more a case of going from extreme to another.

For soreness after a long "day in the office", I can recommend Vagisil cream with lidocaine (I think), it numbs the whole area. The info on the leaflet says it's for external use only, but I've applied it inside as well (not very deep, maybe 2-3cm in) and never had any problems. It's a great relief if you're sore, itchy etc.
Just for laughs, when I was new to the "biz", I used to get really sore and one girl told me to try Bonjela - the teething pain gel for babies! It did the job, but burned like hell for the first 20 seconds or so... The stuff that my poor V has to endure, bless ;D

I mainly tour too for around 20 days a month and towards the end of tour i get sore and dry. I use Balance Avtive Menopause (not the one for BV) does nothing for the pain but sorts the dryness out. Ibuprofen literally dehydrates my body and makes me ill so for pain i just use paracetomol.

Tampon that has been in the freezer. Sounds daft but feels good!
