Overnights can go either way; they can be all dinner, drinks, conversation and sleep interspersed with reasonable amounts of sex (anything between 1-5+ sessions, depending how 'quick' he is), or they can be all sex (possibly Viagra-stimulated, which is the worst) and you wake up at 1am (and 2am, and 3am...) with him trying to finger you. I think it's quite rare that a guy will see an overnight as a cheap way of getting literally 16 hours of non-stop sex - but it can happen. And similarly, it's quite rare that a guy will want to pay you around a grand just so that you can snuggle together all night, but that can happen, too.

The best thing to do is ascertain a particular client's expectations at the time of booking. You don't have to be like, "I can do up to 37.4 minutes of sexual activity up to 5.9 times per overnight booking, sir!" but you should find out if dinner will be involved and ideally, you should meet the client for a normal shorter booking initially so that you can find out what he's like in bed. Then you dramatically reduce the risk of spending more than an hour with a "moneysworth" (the kind of guy who gets upset if his penis isn't in an orifice for every second that he's paid for, and sees conversation/showering/etc as silly wastes of time - fortunately rare, and probably manageable for an hour, but you definitely want to avoid this - or even worse, in the case of guys with seriously bad attitudes - on an overnight).

I don't even really offer overnights anymore; they're only available to regulars, with me. But I know others here do them regularly with great success so they will probably be along shortly to tell you more about how to deal with the cash.

You're definitely right to be cautious, though - I don't know if it's just how it seems to me or whether there's a real correlation between overnight bookings (and holidays) and posts in the Warnings/Timewasters sections of the forum, but I would imagine that it could easily be a popular timewaster (or worse) tactic: Use the promise of a really highly-paid booking to make an escort more likely to fall for a scam, or to ignore her own misgivings and act with less caution, etc. I don't miss doing overnights - even a client who's great during an hour can be really difficult to constantly please during such a long time - although I'm sure I miss a few nice ones by not accepting them from new clients. Still, most of the emails that come from guys waxing lyrical about overnights, multi-day bookings, holidays and thousands and thousands of pounds seem equally nonsensical. At least it's quite easy to judge their likelihood of being a serious potential customer by their tone.

My overnights always go differently, one was 12 hours of straight sex literally just stopping for a minute and off again another I arrived at 8pm and he was an older man who wanted to go to bed so was asleep by 12 and very happy, another one was sporadic we watched tv, had sex a few times from 10pm til 3am when it was time to sleep! I have never slept on an overnight unless its been a longer booking (weekends etc) as I always need to keep one eye on the client!

Cant really pin point how overnights go as they are so different depending on what they want but a set routine doesnt work you will usually get the how many times can I cum question...to which I normally reply I dont know how many times can you cum?  I tend to do maybe one a month or so but as said before they arent always as economical as short bookings as you may need 1-2 days to recover in which time if you include the booking you may have earned more with short bookings.

Overnights for me have typically been a couple of sessions
then the client cuddling up and falling asleep, usually till morning, where a further session happens. 
I like to rest my head on the clients chest and wrap an arm around them
They usually like that as do I
but the main reason is that I'm awake if they move / get up.

I had an overnight a few Mondays back.
Guy in mid 40's
Non stop sex
