Juliet isn't my real name, I guess I decided not to use my name because it is quite unique and if the guy was to discuss his activities with someone else and mentioned my name, it could get back to someone who knew me. Also because I am, in effect, a different person for my escorting, having a different name makes me feel I am someone else, someone naughty hehe and 'real name here' is just still me!

When I 1st started though and the guy would say Juliet, I'd find myself not replying, whoops! I also don't like the name, I cringe when someone says it, so I prefer a client not to say my name at all, although obv I can't control that. I also feel a bit mean, I have a few regulars and they're calling me Juliet, thinking it's my name, sometimes saying, how nice it is, ha, and it's not even real, it's like I'm deceiving them!

So, just curious as to who uses their name and who doesn't and what are your reasons for this!

I think that the majority of girls choose a different name for working, than their real one. Though have come across a couple of girls who use their real names.

I use an alias, I gave it a lot of thought when I went Independent. My reasons for doing so were that I wanted to protect my real identity to a point, although I do show my face in photos. Penny is based on me, but is much, much naughtier. Something else a different persona gives you is being able to get into the role of being an escort and de roleing afterwards. Which can keep you sane.

We are marketing ourselves as a product, selling a sexual and intimate service. Having another persona can also help you to keep boundaries in place, as its not the real you telling the guy no he cant have another hour for free, or bareback sex etc etc.

Well thats how I see it.

Choosing an alias was natural for me, I've had them in online communities since I was a teenager and had another name for stripping. I even have friends who think of me as my stripper name years after I quit. It's not dishonest, it's just not the name you use outside work.

If you don't like it, change it. It's good to do it while you're new and and don't have that much invested in your name. Your clients will understand, most of them already know that we don't use our real names and the ones that don't will realise that it makes sense. If you can't think of one you like, look on baby naming sites. That's how I chose mine.

Haha I know! My real name starts with J, and I was thinking of quite 'sexy, sensual, whatever' names as came up with Juliet!

I don't use my real name, I like the name Lucy and found it suited me. It is up to the individual if they want to use their real name or a "stage" name but for my own safety I feel a fake name is better.

Anna is not my real name either, but it's not a million miles away from my real name.

I found it really interesting that some of the girls were talking about their escort identities as
seperate people, I feel the same. Anna is far more outgoing and slightly less sane than I.
She is also a hell of a lot dirtier, lol. I hear myself saying things to clients sometimes and think
"OMG did I just say that ?"

Hi everyone, Just joined the forum and thought I would add my say...
I don't use my real name on any escort meetings, although I have met guys in my area who I know through friends, in these cases I will only meet the married ones as I feel they have as much to lose as myself should my identity be revealed to my family. So I use a name which I adore and wish my parents had named me all those years ago lol
I use a different phone for texts , calls or bookings for work. My motto is if I dont reply straight away then its family time for me, this has worked so far.

Hi all

I don't use my real name.

It just seemed natural for me to use a different name when I started out in this. This way when I am not working, I am the real me.

It also helps distinguish between work and home life and I can therefore separate the two.

I just feel that even clients (well the married ones for sure) don't give us their real identities and this way I feel that I somehow protect myself.

Being a single parent too, I prefer to safeguard my identity.

Don't even ask me why i chose the name Nell - it just popped into my head and has been with me since I started a year ago. Sometimes I think I wish I had chosed something more exotic but too late now as too many clients know me as Nell!

At first it was a bit difficult to remember the work name but now it is a doddle and like so many of you I have my work mobile and home mobile so obviously separate the two lives and it works well for me.

Hi all,
Im kind of new to this site so i thought i join in.

I don't use my real name either that's private and only for family members as i'm known to clients as Jacey as us girls have to be really carefully now a days of who we really chat too via the phones so its best to keep our real names hidden and use a different name, as i have 2 personalitys one for our personal life and the other for escorting.

Mila is not my real name,

I chose it because I often get told I look like Mila Jovovich and I love the name,
I guess it also makes me feel more like an actress then an escort,
if that makes sence
