Without going into details, this thread really helped me yesterday. I have a many years of experience and want to acknowledge the benefit I receive from networking, sharing experiences with other sex workers.

If its booked a week in advance I ask them to message the day before the booking, when they are on their way on the day and then when they arrive, otherwise I just tell them to message when they are on their way if its a same day/week booking.

I used to ask to message an hour before the booking but it got confusing as to who was confirming what booking as I get an array of time durations being high volume and I just wanted to make my life easier  ::)

99% of guys comply, only had a couple of people not message to say they are on their way and I just drop a message to ask if they are still able to make their booking half hour before it starts as most my clients are pretty local. Should note this is for incalls. If its an outcall I text to confirm just before I get ready and then when I am on my way. I've only accepted deposits with overnights when I travel to London for them and I only offer them very rarely now to clients I've already seen.

It’s incredibly useful to have things like this, and the ability to talk to other workers in similar / sometimes the same situations, not a week goes by I don’t find something helpful on here :) xx

I only take bookings on the day and am ultra strict about confirmation texts.
I give them a time to confirm and if they're two minutes over I text them saying since they haven't confirmed I am cancelling their appointment. (I also tell them this when they book so there are no excuses).
The genuine ones get straight back and confirm and if they don't get back, I've freed up an appointment and avoided a no show.
It's not unusual for me to ask for 2 confirmations if the booking is an advance one but I rarely take advance bookings without a deposit.
I tour so I need to be strict and this system works for me.
They are asked to confirm when they are leaving to come to me so usually either an hour before or half hour, depending on their journey time. I also tell them they might get an automated response but I'll know they are on their way.

Any advanced booking I have I ask by a certain time in the morning, early but reasonable time. That way if they don't message by then I can start accepting on the day bookings so I don't miss out. It happens alot (advance bookings not confirming on the day) they are just time wasters or sometimes I think I'm their back up if escort 1 cancels. Only once (in 4 years) has anybody got back to me a little late. He messaged to confirm 10mins past my cut off time and had to tell him that somebody else now has their booking. They were very polite and understood but I just told him that's why it's important to follow instructions by the letter. Thing is if you don't then half the time you would end up with no bookings waiting around for a no show.

By 10am for me, or an hour beforehand if the start time is earlier than that. They lose their slot if they're late whether I've rebooked it or not, although I'll make allowances for anybody who is only a couple of minutes over because they were stuck on the tube or whatever provided they apologise.

If somebody books on the day for a few hours later and I'm not entirely sure about them I ask them to confirm an hour before, but it's not often. I don't send directions until they do.
