Organize bookings
« on: 28 September 2014, 11:02:50 am »
I'm back to work and sometimes it was hard for me to organize all my bookings. I tried some diary software and found  a "good" one, but now I'd like to try others so I can find one that really works for me. It must be software on PC, not phone apps or paper notes. Any ideas? How do you organize your bookings?

I use a paper diary ( being old school) I like to scribble notes next to bookings, ie requested outfit scenario etc and also afterwards on how well it went or not, whatever the case. But I would be interested to hear what others use and if there is a better system. I keep looking at my event thingy on the iPad and am tempted to try that. I don't take the diary with me but it is written in a code any way. The thing that bothers me with the iPad is if one of my children ask to use it for something and come across the diary.
Be in your happy place

I do sort of use Excel as a back-up, but like Carmel mainly use a day-to-view hardbacked diary (6x8"). In my personal life I experimented with different online things, apps etc., but just find pencil and paper a lot easier! As Carmel says, you can make notes and easily erase/over-write things, and it makes it easy to see at a glance how your day is looking.
