Hi

I am considering working in my own city for convenience purposes. I would be grateful for any of your thoughts on this?

Hi Sue, and welcome! Im a newbie too, so probably can't be of that much help. But I share your concerns. I live and work in manchester - pretty big city you might think. but having now done a couple of agency jobs i am getting slightly nervy about the very real possibility that someone i know - or god forbid someone im related to!! - might book me. Now that I've dealt with clients i am starting to think about the men i know and recognising the ones who might punt. so i am thiking of working down the road in liverpool instead.

i'd also like to hear other peoples thoughts on this!

I began my working life in Dublin, which is a huge place. I was working for six months in
a parlour when I opened the door one Sunday afternoon to my old history teacher.  :o

I don't know who was more shocked lol.

I think if you work in your own city then you have to be prepared to bump into someone
you know at some point. Other girls are more fortunate and work for years without
meeting someone. At the end of the day, if it's an outcall, you'll recognise the name
and address and just say you're "unavailable".  ;)

If it's an incall, and you're faced with a guy you know, well what can he say ? He's
there for the same reason as you.  :)
