Title: Newbie in need of help and guidence
Post by: sophalicious on 28 May 2014, 07:16:56 pm
Hi all, I'm Soph and I live in South Wales.

I've been thinking for a while about getting into escorting, but I have no idea how to go about it!!

My main question is, do you have to be skinny? I do have a bit of a tummy and a bit of 'junk in the trunk' as they say.

Any help/advise would be greatly appreciated!!

xx

In regards to size, there are prossies that are like a size 6 and there are prossies that are size 30+, I myself am a 24/26, there are clients for us all.

Get a dedicated work phone and a profile on AdultWork.com and you're good to go :) and any size is fine :) I'm a size 12-14 with a tum and a bum too! :)

And good luck :)

Please tell me you are using a fake name?

Just the way you say it makes it sound like it's your real name...

I realise that technically that's all that's needed, but I don't really want the OP to think there's no more to think about than that.

She needs to decide how she's going to keep herself safe, which services she wants and doesn't want to offer (and work out how she's going to stand her ground when the newbie hunters move in), work out what she needs/wants to earn and then decide what to charge and sort out how she wants to portray herself in her ads, including photos. She needs to do this even if she never progresses beyond an Adultwork profile - it's easy to end up in a situation you hadn't anticipated even when you've been working a while, and just sticking up a phone number on the internet isn't going to prepare her for anything which might go wrong.

Soph, the best advice you've had so far is to read the main SAAFE site (http://www.saafe.info/). You'll be in a far better position for doing so, and the search box is on the forum here for more specific stuff too :).

Some girls do use their real name, I can see the sense in it if you're out n about and anyone's with you and a client calls you by your real name there's no questions asked other than whose he.
What can anyone actually do with a first name anyway

I've started from using a fake name, but regret it now. Although I am altering my real name to English language realities, since mine original one is definitely too foreigner. If any of these gentlemen will call me in public place, it would be easier to handle in presence of my 'normal' life friends.
I am using 2 phones though, simply because of the numbers of calls coming through. If in 'normal life' situation it would ring so much as it does sometimes, it would raise questions.
Some of my clients though have my normal phone. Once, I trust them, second - they have families and very well going life and businesses, and they wouldn't do anything silly. Most of them keeps me as a person, who is coming to fix computer, in case of home out calls.
So yes, definitely go with two phones, my advise at least.

If you want some more private advise, message me on priv. I will try help from my own experience as much as I can.

Anyone could search all the "Sophie's" in her area on Facebook and find her and all her personal details, it's really not that hard. Anything could happen if an undesirable person got hold of your personal details, that's the down side of the industry we are in.

I really think it's just common sense to use a fake name.

Some girls do use their real name,

.. and many of them regret it at some point.

It's a boundary issue, just as deciding whether or not to have face pics or do OWO or... is.

If someone calls you by the wrong name, it's easier to go 'I've never met him' (and mutter '... and never will again' under your breath!)

It depends on your first name. What does the combination of your first name plus the place you live show up in searches on Google and the evil Facebook, for example?

If you are out with friends/family then you are not working and there is no reason to have your work phone on or even with you.

Even the likes of Heidi Klum will switch off her work phone at times.
