I think they are.  I generally do 2 professional shoots each year and then top up
With a few selfies - holiday ones in between. I'm on holiday at the moment and have taken some nice photos of myself on the beach - although bloody Hurricane Irma means I'm being evacuated today 😂

I just did a photo shoot in August.  I  haven't put up the photos yet as it m on holiday but I will start putting a few up when I get back I will probably do another shoot in March next year
Mine cost me ?450 for 4 hrs amazing location 6 changes and 10 photos and extra images are ?20 I bought a further 8 so ?650 in total
But I did a 1.5 day tour in London and more then covered the cost of the photos hotel and a profit for myself so definitely worth it for me
But overall clear well shot photos regardless of if they are professional or selfies are a must I think in this business

I put mine on twitter and I do get work from twitter -  on holiday I've been tweeting my beach selfies pictures

100% I definitely notice an increase in client interest once I get new photos done. A worthwhile investment  :)

So have I after clagging a handful of new photos up on AW earlier and I haven't even put them on my site yet. The key word is 'new' - my friend and I took in turns to do each others with our phones plus I added a selfie I took this afternoon. There isn't a pro pic amongst them :).

My friend had a photo shoot done, she said they really revved up business for her, so I guess it could be a good investment

I'm another who just got a friend to take pix for me. I've never had a pro shoot done and like others in same situ was never short of work.

Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Yes, new photos are helpful. Especially if they are good photos. It doesn't take a professional to get good photos. It just takes a very basic understanding of things like getting the light at the right angle and being aware of the framing of things. It helps to get a good setting (a small dim bedroom will be harder to work with than a neutrally furnished, well-lit room with a variety of furniture to prop against.)

I just had new pro pics taken and put them up on my profile the other day and inquiries have been going up a lot. I really recommend to invest in new photos they do pay off.

For me personally pro photos on a website work well.  But just because they are pro doesn't mean they have to be especially raunchy or look obviously 'touched up.'  Mine are all very natural, just in great lingerie in a great setting.

I have a mix of pro and selfies on AW.
