Did you get any 'bookings' or just calls?

I don't think it's strange. Putting yourself out there is unpredicatable and you're still in a learning period. Trial and error. Covid worldwide pandemic and half term this week too.

Though I hate reviews AW is a review site and many readers check them out before chosing. So you may be in a chicken and egg situation. Once I had a handful of reviews to establish my rep I found that was enough, since then I avoid reviewers. Can't stand them. But they can get the ball rolling.

I feel it is just due to the COVID. Mine has been super slow too, this whole week. So please do not worry, I hope and pray that business speeds up for all of us again!

Thank you, I hope it picks up for everyone. Hopefully we do not go into a major lockdown, because I think this might hinder things further!

Yes, you had the usual wankers. I sometimes promote myself the day before a tour to guage interest and filter the tosspants. So I'm sitting at home answering those calls and analysing them. If someone wants to book I say I'm fully booked today but they are welcome to book tomorrow morning at such and such time. At least before or when you arrive you get an idea of the wankpot ratio.

Those AW alerts are a nuisance but they had their fun now and will go on to the next girl. Keep their numbers and block.

I've advertised on AW two days this week and no jobs-snap!

Thank you that’s a really good idea actually I will try the booking next day idea out x I’m surprised that there are sooo many Timewaster’s out there!

I do hope it improves for you next week, is half term normally a lot quieter?

I’ve only toured London and it’s surrounding areas a few times but I’ve found location definitely matters for London and the surrounding areas like Hertfordshire and Essex. While in other smaller cities being close to the city centre is the only real important thing. But in London and the surrounding areas I’ve done absolutely no bookings in certain areas and then super busy in others. I toured recently and stayed up in Bayswater and also Tower Hamlets. I was super busy in Bayswater as this is kind of a hotspot for sex workers of all types and there’s plenty of business always in West London I’ve found. I got no booking in Tower Hamlets and I assume that’s because city workers are working remotely now and I assume they traditionally make up a large part of the clientele in that area. I know you’re in Watford but have you considering touring somewhere in central London? You’re quite close to the west and as I said areas like Paddington, Bayswater, Kensington and Chelsea etc.. always seem to be very busy.

Another thing is obviously advertising. If you find you aren’t getting a lot of business from a website I’ve always found it best to go looking at other websites as their are many out there. I also try to find escorts who are similar to myself and what I offer and use those websites specifically.

The OP isn't in London she's in Herts? I am though, and after almost thirteen years of working in various parts of the place the West (Kensington etc) was the shittest by a country mile - I left early and never went back. And if you look at the Worst Places To Tour thread I'm far from in the minority.

Back on topic, I agree that it's probably just bad timing and if it's the first time you've advertised in a place it's as well to do it a day early to get all the local dickheads out of the way. If you're not using any other sites to advertise did you put all the paid stuff on too?

A lot of people who live in Watford work in London, so they're probably just stuck at home, and if partnered, can't think of an excuse to get out.

On adultwork, put the surrounding areas into your location section , I’m sure you can put up to 5 locations in. when I work I always add the surrounding areas in..

maybe reduce your rates to get your clients used to you and once you got a steady client base slowly increase your rate back up again.. when I started being indie I started at £70 30mins, £120 hour.. I slowly creeped my rate up when I got a little busier.. my rates now at 100half £160 hour.. which was added over 2yrs.

I don't know where you are in Herts but when advertising on AW you may want to put St Albans Kings Langley and Hatfield down in your area box if you are quite near as I happen to know there is (well before all this shit) money to be made there.
