Hi all! So I've decided recently that I want to be an escort. Looking through this website, it looks like almost everyone is from the UK. I reside in NYC and need some help with how to get started..
I'm not entirely sure how to start. Finding a legitimate agency is also proving to be difficult. I'm not sure what to do :( I need help! Any tips will do. If I could avoid joining an agency and just working independently, that would be more ideal for me. However if I need to join an agency first then I will.
Is it better to start working for an agency first?

The big problem with escorting in the US is that - outside a few brothels in rural Nevada - prostitution is illegal for both client and escort... and guess which one is more usually targeted.
In the UK, agencies are breaking the law but the individual escorts aren't; there, you are trusting someone nowhere near where you are that you are not going to someone looking to arrest you.
Now obviously, this does not stop either agencies or independent escorts existing and it is possible to reduce your chances of ending up in handcuffs: doing your own screening being one of the big ones.
