A few years ago, I had the same issue. 99% of clients on the forums were guys I wouldn't want to see. I took the extreme step of getting all reviews deleted on a certain site, which lead to a few call from obnoxious guys asking why there were no reviews on said site. These, again, were people I didn't want to see. I also posted some blogs about not offering PSE. This caused a few guys to cancel, which suited me fine, as they would only have pissed me off. I have since gone back to advertising PSE, now I have weeded out the dross.

I know what you mean, mature helen.  You and I operate based on a similar outlook.  You get those regardless.  My price increase isn't anything to do with it in my case. My hairdresser's increasing her price post NY..increased costs/expenses etc.       Maybe, a new thread might be useful, "will you be increasing your price after NY?" as this has clearly gone off-topic.

I agree a new thread on price increases might be helpful.

But I'll just pop in here that I've tested a number of price points and I haven't noticed any particular change in punter type from one to another. When i drop my prices, I get more enquiries, but that doesn't equate to a lower class/more arrogant/boundary pushing punter.

If anything I'd say that the clients who've tried to buy me at higher prices have been more demanding of extra services and expected to go beyond my boundaries.

Great comments from Helen, and I agree with VC that if you are noticeably more expensive than similar escorts, some clients will assume that you do more, or that they're more entitled to ask for more. I think pricing is about getting the right amount of clients through the door for you - whether that's loads or a trickle. Getting the right type of client is a different matter.

Pricing is easy, if you're getting more bookings than you can fit in then raise your prices, if it's crickets then lower them. You eventually find the sweet spot of making the most you can along with the right number of bookings and interest. How much you make just depends on how much your clients like you and if they enjoy your service. If you're good they'll pay.

Marketing won't really change respectful or rude clients but it will help you get interest by reaching a target clientele. You need to think about what kind of person you are and what you want to put across. You're best marketing yourself as you turned up to 11. Remember that they aren't just necessarily out to pay for sex, they are paying for their fantasy dream date/girlfriend etc. What you want is a group of good clients who keep coming back for more because that's where you make money.

That's the simple answer market your image to the taste of the clients you want to get or better yet figure out your appeal points and which kind of clients like that and market to their tastes. Early on I spent quite a bit of time figuring out who was booking me more than once and what they liked about me then I started pushing myself more towards that and it worked for attracting similar clients.

Excellent post.  I'm worried about losing my perfectly pleasant "regulars" by the price hike.  It's hard to say...  when there are demanding clients, I think about the price hike as they should pay more.  On the other hand, I wouldn't like to put off easygoing clients, who want GFE and a bit of PSE.  I guess this is where different prices for the different type of services (e.g. GFE versus PSE / or PSE plus) would / might come in.   Clearly, OP suggests that she's offering GFE so clearly, this may not too relevant. . .  :-\

I'm fairly high-priced and make it clear that I'm not offering a hard, shagging service.  I get plenty of clients who do not demand anything like that, are really easy going  and have a suspicion that is very attractive to some men.

I have no feedback on my profile whatsoever. When I started to have some when I first went on AW, my regulars commented on it and didn't seem to like the fact I had ruined their illusion that I only saw them ( ;D). So I deleted the feedbacks and it hasn't affected men wanting to see me and the men I see tend to be absolutely fine.

(you wait, after saying this I will probably get a right load of twatheads haha)

I would Keep your regs on the old price if it's only ?10 -?20 price hike it's worth it to keep them sweet
Just make a note In  Your phone that's they are xxx price
I changed my pricing 2 years ago but I still have loads of regs that are on my old 1 hr at ?100
Last week 6 / 7 of my bookings over 3 days were old regs at my old price so for me it's worth it

Always remember though...you can build up a small group of respectable guys who you strive hard to keep as regulars...then within a few visits (if you are anything like me), you lose the stomach to see them one by one as you know exactly what is coming in that session and, however respectable, it can be hard to deal with haha.

I agree, Paris. I have kept the old price for my regulars.  Thanks again. :)
