New to Escorting in America
« on: 29 October 2015, 12:51:42 am »
I was wondering if any of you knew of any legitimate male escort agencies in America?
I'm just starting out, and any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use any agencies in US, I just advertise on directories as an independent eg rentmen, manhunt, rentmasseur, men4rentnow, masseurfinder, planetromeo, fetlife, collarspace, spankthishookups, backpage and craigslist. Plus my own website and twitter and I use grindr.

If you're looking to escort women, just say and we'll add this thread to the main one: http://www.saafe.info/main/index.php?topic=408

If you're looking to escort men / aren't fussy that it's a man going down on you, then given that prostitution is illegal there there are no 'legitimate' agencies, but there will be some catering for the gay market anyway. But

I just advertise on directories as an independent eg rentmen, manhunt, rentmasseur, men4rentnow, masseurfinder, planetromeo, fetlife, collarspace, spankthishookups, backpage and craigslist.

.. is very likely to be the way to go.

:)  Well I was wondering, will all the advertising on these sites be worth it?  I mean, it looks like a bit more overhead than I thought, especially if I tried to do them all.
Should I start with one or two?  If so, which ones?   :-[

I'm going to let Aussie Male answer that as he will be the best placed to tell you which bring in the most work for him.

Paid advertising does make the different - when I was new I started out with free sites, it got me going but my business only really took off when I placed paid ads.  You could always do something similar, start off on the free or cheaper ones then move up accordingly when the money starts coming in.

I'm assuming you are advertising for male clients yes?

Well you may as well concentrate on male clients, because you're extremely unlikely to get female ones. Certainly don't spend any money trying.

As for paid advertising (to men), I don't know how much you were planning to charge but it's all part of running a business and whilst you should make it back fairly quickly there's always going to be some that don't work for you and you just have to take the hit. I know advertising is a lot more expensive in the States than it is here (or it is for women at least, anyway) but you can't expect people to book and pay you if they can't find you? :)

Well one piece of advice that applies to everybody is to try thinking like a punter - if you were looking to find an escort, where would you start? Try Googling something like 'male escort [your town]' and have a look at the sites which pop up :).

In regards to communication.  Just keep a regular unlimited plan burner phone?

Yeah have a separate phone, I have a pay as you go so that it isn't tied to my real name.
