I've split this from the thread it was in as it wasn't really appropriate there, but Kareena, is there a reason you want to engage an agency? If you're still in India, I don't think we have any members there regularly posting but I can't imagine there's any more reason to have a pimp there than there is anywhere else? :)

I agree with Amy - indie all the way.

Get a profile made and get it up on some directory sites, build a website, find out which sites are good to use in your country....the advice about work in general on here is pretty universal.   :)

Also whether you go agency or indie find out the legal situation with prostitution in your country so that you can act accordingly.

Thanks for your replies.actually I'm a crossdresser(Male to female).I have been doing this discreetly over 27 years.despite looking like a sexy diva I'm simply controlling my feminine side for the sake of my society and family.I cannot live a shemale's life here.I was looking for an agency to sponsor me some work.I'm willing to pay for my travel and relocation expense but I would essentially require job permit to leave my country first.as I have no acquaintance individuals to offer me a job outside India,I thought its better to move through some agency.I know that I have much(more than most)to offer as a shemale but under current scenario,I cannot advertise myself.god knows if I would be able to live like what I am

Wow I'm sorry you are having such problems living your life the way you want to.  Virtual hugs.

With the agency thing though, I think you may be barking up the wrong tree.  Do you have any agency experience or are you brand new?  I can only talk about UK agencies but generally speaking an agency won't sponsor you to get a visa or work permit.  All an agency does is phone you when they have a job for you, then take a cut of your fee.  They don't employ you, in fact you employ them.  I think you may have the wrong idea.

Also as you're such a niche market, I think you will struggle with the agency thing - unless you are the stereotypical size 8, 32B blonde female in most cases they won't be interested, and if they are they won't have a clue how to market you.  (I too fall outwith this demographic BTW).

I'm not too sure what to advise although I do want to help you.  Do you have escort directories in your country where girls place ads and clients call them?

Thanks for your hugs curvy.u guessed it right that I have never worked for any agency.though I'm relevantly inexperienced with this term escorting, but I have worked my bit in the study of shemale escorts living in my society(country). Firstly, living as shemale in our society is socially highly unacceptable. It might be the same in various other parts of the world to different extent but at least u r not putting your family into any embarrassment if its discrete (obviously away from home).India to me is a full as my society.Secondly, individuals like me do work in local agencies and as independent escorts, but nearly all of them r socially discarded except for their same alikes, clients and agencies. And even the money they earn after all this is just sufficient to buy them bread and butter only.for my dream life,I'm willing to live the same, but only outside my society and for some greater financial returns.and as for the visa,I think(just) an official recruitment letter would be a strong base to obtain it more comfortably.

An agency wouldn't supply you with a recruitment letter, (although possibly parlours are different as I signed some forms when I started one in Manchester). You'd be better off getting a job here outside of escorting even if just part time and escorting on the side, although I don't know the ins and outs

As above, you wouldn't get a work permit for escorting in the UK. It might be legal to escort here, but employing escorts to pimp out is illegal and so it would be impossible for them to sponsor you as an employer.

Thank you all for that healthy information. But it would be all up to the company or agency to supply me with some clerical or official job assignment letter.I won't ask for any cash returns or benefits in that contract.escorting will automatically become my part time job.don't you think its all up to the employer and jobseeker's understanding.

But an agency isn't an employer, they won't give you a contract of employment as that is a written contract that they are pimping you which is illegal here. My agency doesn't know my real name. The only difference was with the parlour I worked in as I provided my ID, national insurance number and other details (stupidly may I add, never again)

They won't do it.  Agencies are generally one woman/man bands.  They don't have clerical departments and people typing up letters, and if they did give you a letter that you used to gain entry to the UK or another country, it would draw attention to them and most likely their operations, also immigration won't give you a visa to come here to work as a prostitute.

And the biggest point is, agencies don't employ you.

This might sound a bit harsh too, but even IF they could legally sponsor you (they can't) why would they? You are already a very specialist niche, which cuts down the agencies that would be interested to 1 or 2 in the whole country. These agencies will likely have as many escorts available as they want, they just wouldn't go to the trouble of importing them.

But most importantly, it would be completely impossible for an escorting agency to get you a work permit here, as what they are doing is illegal.

The thing is nobody in this industry is going to sponsor you for a visa, because even those who work in parlours and so on are technically self employed.  Also parlours are brothels which are illegal in the first place.

I am sorry that your dream is taking a hit and I do feel a bit bad but I also think it's best to tell you straight up - you are not going to be able to get a visa to come to the UK to work in the sex industry.

As I said earlier, I think the only way for you to do this is to look for a 'normal' job and escort independently on the side. Hope you manage it  :)
