Yes I realise there will be a variety of men of different ages, shape etc.
Can I ask... when you are with a really old or really fat bald guy for example, how do you keep up the pretence of 'enjoying' yourself and making out you are turned on?

You might be surprised about the type of client the sex can be enjoyable with: I've had great shags with men I wasn't remotely attracted to, and crap ones with lookers. It's not about pretending to be turned off, but more hiding it if you're not. And if you find the latter is more often the case than not, then escorting might not be for you.

One of the things you will learn, if you haven't done so already, is that age / looks matter very little when it comes to having a good time and that attitude matters much more.

If there are age lines you don't want to cross - below and above - just make it clear in your marketing. There are also tips here around dealing with fatter clients.

I'm the same my most enjoyable bookings are nothing to do with physical appearance, same with less enjoyable.

When I started if I'm completely honest, I did struggle with people I found unattractive. I think that's part and parcel of finding out if you can do the job. In our civvy lives we choose our partners / fuck buddies etc because we fancy them. We don't get the option of choosing in this job, in fact most of the time with someone new, I have zero idea of their appearance, size, age etc.

The difference is now that over time, someone's appearance matters less and less. As others have said, attitude and personality go much further towards an enjoyable booking and someone's appearance matters less. In fact if you do enjoy the job and stick with it, you quickly realise that appearance does not matter at all, and for me it's how I get along with them that matters, how comfortable I feel in their company. Appearance is irrelevant.

You have to try and see how you get on. You will get clients you do find attractive! But only time & experience will tell how you feel about being with men you don't fancy. Don't worry too much!

OP, don't worry about being turned on or fancying them, this job is about making THEM feel great. I very rarely get aroused or fancy them but I'm great at faking it! Just be warm and affectionate and give lots of compliments and you'll be great.

Just wanted to add AW isn’t the only directory to have a profile on. Google escort and your location, see what pages come up and look into getting yourself on there. Try different keywords plus your location to see what the men see when they search. Not every guy looks on AW, I’m currently no longer on AW and I’m doing ok.

Hey Alison!

I'm pretty new too (3 months) I posted a thread above. Just really seeking some girlfriends who KNOW first and foremost because by god it can get lonely! I never even anticipated that before i got into this.
Are you telling friends and/or family? Or are you keeping it secret?
I think it's awesome you posted on here before you take the plunge to get a bit of advice.. I honestly wish i had.
I've read soooo much helpful stuff the girls on here really know their stuff. Its a site i really appreciate.

So anyway, I'm not sure my advice is worth much as I've only been involved 3 months but i will say know your boundaries and stick to them firmly. Keep your wits about you and dont book absolutely everyone who contacts you, be selective. Talk on the phone with them always do that. It gives you a sence of who they are. Have a plan B incase something messes up.

Wish you all the best babes! Stay safe! And enjoy being the other you :)

This x 1000. Many of us do this for the money and it's definitely a factor to be considered, it is a business after all. But NEVER do anything you are not comfortable with, it's not worth it.

With AW you can have a profile and do fine without shelling out a penny. I do. Low volume means I can manage quite well without displaying my number or being available today etc etc but others will rely on those paid options. I actually make a nice little profit from that site by having a private gallery.

The Asda and Tesco (or Pound shop if you choose!) is a great suggestion to see if you can be intimate with that old fella in a shabby overcoat or the man who eats a thousand pies.

Agree with all of that and do the same. You don't need to spend a penny on advertising.
Definitely do not put an advert in a shop window and definitely make sure you have someone you can call at the beginning and at the end of a booking and make sure the client sees you do this. Cash always up front and hide it, somewhere safe.
Just a warning there can be some unpleasant men that will pray on newbies- asking for BB and worse.
Stay well clear of drunks and druggies, and if a guy stinks or has a bad attitude - LEAVE

Try to make your advert look like you have been doing this for years.
Most important thing is BE CONFIDENT. You won't get anywhere without it!
Also, read every bit of advice on this site, every day!!!
