New Agency - advice please.
« on: 23 July 2007, 10:24:39 pm »
Hello all

I'm seriously thinking about starting an Escort Agency, but I want to do it properly....any advice welcome. I'll start with a few Qs to start you off  :)

1. What's a fair percentage of a girl's earnings to charge ?
2. What is the best way to ensure the girls' safety?
3. How can I verify the clients' Id before a visit??

Plenty more where they came from. I'm genuine, so please don't give me a load of abuse - I'm at least trying to do this properly and safely.

Thanks, Andy

Just wondering why you want to begin an agency when you seem not to know the most basic things about Escorting?

Because everyone and their dog thinks that they could do it and it's easy money.

I used to get at least a couple of calls every week about this. Virtually all of them would say 'I want to start a high class escort agency and...'
'The Ian formerly known as SW5'. What they said: "Indispensable", "You are our best resource", and (hours later!) "I'm afraid that you're being made redundant..."

Fair play at least he IS asking.

Might be good to get some answers anyway to advise us newbies what we should be expecting to pay an agency in different areas, etc.

People seem to think around 30%. There is a thread about this on the Punternet messaeg board:

Ah, I'd missed the return of a PN message board, thanks.

The basic question people wanting to run an agency need to answer is 'Why should I work for you?' It's not as if there's a shortage of them.

So getting more work (how?), better paid work (how?), and being more serious about safety (how?) are all possible answers along with charging less.

Yep, even if some of them pretend otherwise. When they were passing the law in 2003, the notes to MPs on what it all meant gave as examples of 'control' exactly what agencies do.

In practice, agencies are clearly not a priority for police. They don't generate the complaints, for one thing. HM Customs & Revenue are far more interested.

Ah that makes an awful lot of sense thank you very much XW5.  one agency (I briefly knew of) was based in Thailand where his usual domicile was based and visits here in UK seasonally.
