Nervous about using a hotel
« on: 30 October 2012, 08:05:03 am »
Hello, this is my first post on here as I'm quite new to escorting. In the 3 months or so I've been working I've used a flat owned by someone I know, but today and tomorrow I'm doing a 'mini tour' so will be working out of a hotel....and I feel really nervous about it. I've checked there are no keycards needed for lifts etc, but I'm worried that reception will clock different guys strolling in, and will maybe question them, or even follow them to my room and question me. Am I just being paranoid or does this kind of thing actually happen? Apologies if this is covers elsewhere on here, but could really do with some advice/reassurance...

Thanks

Hi Jessica and welcome to the site.

It is always good to do a recky of the hotel when you get there and see how many different routes there are for guys to get to your room within the hotel.  You may have more than one route and this is good for you can alternate them if you choose.  If anyone questions you when doing this simply pretend to be lost.

Most receptionists are not interested in what is going on in the rooms.  If you find that lifts are viewable from reception (which is usually not the case) then simply get the guys to go to the floor below or the floor above and walk up or down to your floor from time to time.  NEVER give out the name of hotel until the guys are in close proximity of the hotel and if you can then find a vantage point outside that you can see from your hotel room and give the guys this point to get to before giving out the hotel name and then if you choose you can wait till they are on your floor of the hotel to give them the room number.  It is always great when hotel rooms have spyholes in their doors but this isnt always the case.

You have booked the hotel now and I dont know if it is in a large town or small town but it is always best to book a hotel that is beside many and then you can keep your location to yourself longer.

There are other things that help but I will leave you with these things just now to think about.

Good Luck with your hotel today.

Thankyou so much for that- the hotel is the only one around, and i think your advice about getting a hotel near to others is something I will do in the future. I will look for different routes to the rooms once I've checked in, and your advice about getting them to go to a different floor in the lift is brilliant - thankyou xx

The best advice i can give..
is never give them room number untill there on your floor.
and tell them to discreetly ring, when they do ask them a question, they would only know if there..
eg what colurs is the carpet, how many vending machines is there?
because there is some pathetic guys who will pretend to be there and then you have given them a room number..
a guy did this to me yesterday and pretented to be there,if i hadnt used this system he would of had my room number!
its not just for that reason either, when you know there on floor you can be at door ready to open..
also tell the guys to open door as if there room AND DONT LET THEM KNOCK i think this looks obvious if cleaners are around..
since ive used these systems ive had hardly no problems.
but if you can see them in carpark aswell even better.
but never give room number till on floor, another reason before i started doing that is a guy once dropped me in it by acting suspicious so receptionist obviouly asked if he was ok?like you would.
and he said shakily" im meeting a girl in room 254!!idiot then walked out wtf

As for worrying about been found out..
well ive worked in around 60-70 different hotels and only 1 time did i get told to leave as it was a small family run hotel!!i didnt do research..
as long as you go busy hotels and follow these tips you will be fine.
im in a extremly quiet hotel at moment because there wasnt much choice, and ive still managed to see a hand ful of guys, its dead as a door nail..

Remember lots of people come and go from hotels, people on business meetings or people meeting for coffee etc! as long as you space out you're clients so they are not coming straight after a booking ends you will be ok x

Give them clear direction before they enter the hotel on where the lifts are    Nothing worse than someone not sure where they are going
so if it means you have to right direction down on a bit of paper so that you can direct them ect then do that  anything that keeps it easy for you and them is good for business
i have had guy who at first say they won't visit hotel but when i explain that i will give them excellent instructions when outside so that they won't look lost most are fine with it and happy to visit  ( but this is in ireland )

tell them to get into the lift and come to floor xxxx and call

once they are on the floor you can ask them what room numbers they can see , colour of the carpet ect
hotels are never logical in the layout of rooms so it would be hard for them to guess the room numbers ect

i do tend to tell them where i am staying  i.e. hotel ect but i have never had a problem with this as they are not going to get my room number or floor number  until they are there

the one thing that i do is not tell them where i am staying untill i have got there and checked in  ect because you can get kicked out before you start

When I tour I tend to ask them to park up and then ring me for the room number. When possible I try and get a room with an overview of the car park but its not always possible. I text instructions of how exactly to get to the room. I find its mostly about finding the right hotel though. As long as the reception area is relatively busy, its a big notel, its not keycarded, the cleaners stay out of the way etc I tend to have no problems. Most rooms have spyholes and I always check them out before opening the door (just to make sure there aren't two guys there or it isn't the cleaner coming to visit etc).

In answer to your question of whether it happens: yes it does, but it is usually because of a bad hotel choice/ or the hotel policy on wgs (i.e turn a blind eye or zero tolerance). Or because your procedure isn't clear enough. I think some hotels clock on if the guy is a bit of a donut and says something like oh I'm going to see Chanel (or other generic escort name) in room xx can you point me in the direction/ or they look shifty or nervous so the hotel get a bit suspicious. Just counteract this by making sure you are really clear about where they should go, so they don't have any reason to act like that.

You'll be fine.  :)

Correct it is about choosing the correct hotel, busy reception, coffee shop and gym. I've been to events where members of the public have popped into the hotel next to a venue to use the loos, they weren't even guests but just went straight to the loos. No one stopped them, there were people coming and going for all reasons.

Only problems tend to be with TLs, Premier Inns and the like who key card their corridors. Oh and some hotels in small rural areas who bolt their doors at 11pm which can be a problem with dinner dates or late night outcalls, but if touring you may decide not to be working this late anyway.

Ask them to call you before they come into the hotel or when on the floor, NOT from reception. I've had the odd guy phone to announce that they were in reception and what room was I in, now if that's not going to raise the receptionist suscpicions I don't know what would  :FF
Also be clear what city you are in, I've actually twice had guys turn up at the hotel to find out it's the right hotel but wrong city lolx

Also if if its a chain hotel i.e. ibis, travelodge, holiday inn, ect  some cities have several of them so it might be worth texting them which hotel it is  once you have spoken to them ect along with the postcode
i know in my home town we have 4 travelodges  2 ibis, 3 holiday inns, and 3 premiere inns and a holiday inn express  and two Marriots and 2 Hiltons  none of them are near each other so make sure that the clients get the right hotel

I am too always nervous when using a hotel, and I worry that everybody knows what I am doing, but I try to look as neutral as possible, don't wear make up when checking in, wear my reading glasses, hold a map in my hand, sometimes I even put a very strong French accent, in hope the staff will think I'm just a tourist. I often ask 'is it far to walk to ..[insert: famous tourist spot]?'.
I've never had a problem so far, and the staff at one of my most frequently used hotels always say 'we look forward to seeing you again' at the check out. i am always very pleased to hear that ;D

Don't you think that draws attention to yourself Paris? As in, the hotel staff have to seek you out to pass on the message and maybe wondering why your family member didn't just call your mobile..

I would be more nervous to come up with some elaborate plan than just getting on with things.

I hate getting any attention in hotels, I used to check in looking very plain, no make up and wearing glasses but I do outcalls too so staff will see me head out all made up at some point anyway so I stopped that after I got a few 'oh you look different' glances from the male staff members ha  :P The wonder of hair and make up
