I've got a pockit card. Been a nightmare trying to get hold of customer service to organise a pin. Email takes weeks & can't get through on phone number. Tried online but technical issues with the DOB I provided.

 It works on booking dot com to secure a hotel room but for flats it doesn't because they want payment up front so I end up using my real credit card.

Does anyone can recommend a prepaid card that I can top up with cash not via bank transfer?Tha ks

Top tip most places like booking .com hotel .com and most hotels direct websites will let you book hotels on free cancellation even if you haven't got any money on the card as its the card number that secures the booking .
You can just pay when you arrive with a different card

If getting to the bank during opening hours isn't convenient, then some allow you to deposit cash at the ATM outside any time of day? I quite often do this if I don't get out of my flat before mine shuts and whilst I wouldn't wave great wedges of banknotes about in the street, it is useful if you need it to pay for something, or just if you don't want to be sitting on/walking around with it .
