sorry to hear that. I'm pretty sure that legally they have to give you 4 weeks notice & can't evict you until after that time.

Sorry to hear that Shaz xx

Do you mean SW of England or SW London?

There is a Seeking / Offering section on SAAFE where you can look for escort-friendly apartments in the area you want, or advertise for them.

don't think they do, usually there's an immoral clause in the contract and I've been unceremoniously thrown out a few times. Best to go quietly. Look in the seeking/offering or maybe get a hotel room? X

It does not matter if you are found working from your rented home, your landlord still has to give you 8 weeks notice.  You do have legal rights no matter what the situation was for you being asked to vacate.

Try to take a cheap hotel room and work from there till you get back on your feet

Shaz, do you have a tenancy agreement?  If you do, your landlord can not evict you without a notice to vacate first which is 8 weeks notice.  It is the law he has to stand by it, stand your grounds.  Also even if you do not and you have proof that you have been paying him rent, you can go to court as early as the following morning and they will tell him that he has to give you time to find an alternate place to live in no matter what your occupation is.  All they will ask is that you no longer work from the premises while looking for somewhere else.  Also contact Shelter if you are unsure or need more questions answered they will be able to tell you everything you need to know.
