Thank God for this site.

Yesterday I was reading on the home page the section about copyright and content being copied - this one :

Anyway I was HORRIFIED to find an old profile of mine from aw on some other site with a old photo of me - and I have no idea how it got there.

I was so angry I reported it three times last night to the site and have emailed again this morning insisting it be removed immediately.   I have also contacted adultwork to see if they knowingly supply this other site with info.

So thanks to this site for helping me keep control on this. 

So girls be warned - keep a check on your site/content because you never know where it could end up.

To some it might be a blessing as it is clearly more advertising but the annoying thing is that I now blur my pics and that one is not blurred..............

Take note and if anyone wants to know which site it is then pm me for details or if I am allowed then i will post it here.  It has lots of aw profiles on it ..............

I am so damn angry - I have emailed them again today via a "report abuse" link and have had nothing at all.  I have sent another email this evening to another contact that their forum is linked to but still no reply.

If I hear nothing tomorrow then I will pursue further but it is very difficult as there appears to be no company mentiond on that site as it is some form of blogging site.

I was just shocked to see my profile there and a photo.  Bloody annoying how they can just go ahead and do that.

I have, however, also emaled adultwork today and asked them if they knowingly did this or if not, if they can do anything about it as it was clearly copied over from them.

I am so grateful that this site is so informative as I will ensure all my future photos have the copyright symbol on them.

Still damn furious and fuming.

Emailed them some 4 times, have emailed aw and still not heard a thing (maybe I am being too impatient).

Anyway have also posted on the forum for thumblogger or whatever it is so will see if I get any joy there.

Gosh, it just infuriates me to think my details are there somewhere for all to see without my knowledge nor permisssion.

I am sure that is what it is - and am a bit cross with myself for missing that.

I know for sure I have not ticked the one below which states the following :

"Allow my profile (in whole or in part) to be used for advertising AdultWork.com both online and offline (print, mail & TV)."

but think I misread the one above and never ticked it.  Unless I maybe unticked it when i started blurring my photos, I cannot remember.

I am cross though as have had absolutely no replied from the site itself, the contact I emailed and nothing from adultwork.  So it looks like it is there to stay.

Hello All

WOW!!!  BIG WEIGHT LIFTED OFF THESE SHOULDERS!!!!!!!!

After sending NUMEROUS emails to whoever and feeling totally despondent I have logged into that site just now and YIPPEE -  my profile is gone................   

What a relief - it just goes to show that persistence does pay off!

What really pissed me off is that it was a photo of me - wearing sunglasses but clearly recognisable and I dont have pics like that up anymore - I blur all my pics ...

Anyway big relief and thanks to all of you for your advice.
