Must haves for hotel in call
« on: 17 February 2025, 03:35:20 pm »
Hey everyone

I’m just starting escorting in the next couple of weeks, and I have a few questions which will probably come up during that time.

For hotel in calls, would you recommend bringing mini shower gels and stuff like that for clients? Also - I’m thinking of getting some things to make it more homely like more teabags and that kind of thing (I’m a huge tea drinker myself), do you think this is too much?

I’ve used day use hotels before and I’ve never seen a trolley or cleaning staff around so I don’t want to rely on grabbing stuff from them

Thank you ☺️

My list!
- king size flat sheet (in grey) to throw over the *white* hotel bedding (also if I’m staying over, it feels nicer to pull the sheet off to sleep in the bed 😂)
- mouthwash for clients. I don’t bring any other toiletries for them providing the hotel has some (shower gel etc)
- bottles of water for both clients and myself, especially when it’s warm/during the summer
- babywipes
- nappy bags
- snacks to keep me going between bookings if I don’t have enough time to pop out
- a body mist that can double as a room spray
- towel for me so there hotel towels are left for clients

There’s probably more I can’t remember off the top of my head! As well as all my toiletries, clothing, condoms etc.- you’ll suss out what works best for you tho x

The above idea of body mist doubling up as room spray is something I always did. I used to take a king size bed cover too. Thin but patterned....easy to guess why 😕

All the other suggestions above are good too.

Definitely bring tea - hotel tea is always crap  :)

King size fitted sheets are my preference, just because they're easy to get on and off the bed neatly (I used to take thin throws too and a couple of extra towels, as well as my own). A rubber door wedge is handy in case housekeeping ignore the DnD sign or it falls off.

I used to take a fragrance free shower gel but it depends on the hotel; some have dispensers on the shower wall rather than fiddly little bottles so you won't run out. Also a bluetooth speaker for the work playlist (I used to hide it behind the TV)

If you're just going for the day then a few snacks ought to do it; if the room has a fridge, so much the better :)

Much the same as what’s been mentioned (large blanket, water, fragrance free shower gel, room spray, etc.)
Also, I like to bring comfy knickers or joggers to relax in, an iPad or kindle to entertain myself if things are quiet and also a few foodie items like tea and healthy snacks. If I’m away for more than a few days then I’ll bring my favourite hot sauce/seasoning to make basic meals if I’m staying in a serviced apt or to spice up takeaways.

A mini Bluetooth speaker is a must too  ;D

As above plus a can of men's spray deodorant (sensitive) in case needed post shower and a pair of tweezers to remove the wads of tissue paper often crammed into the spyhole by previous hotel room occupants  ;D

In the last 12 months I've had issues with hotels not filling up the shower gel dispensers, and not putting enough toilet paper in the bathroom. I bought some from the nearest convenience shop, but the most recent hotel didn't have any shops nearby. Thankfully reception did give me more loo roll. The shower gel dispensers in a different hotel were more complicated, and I was busy when the maid was nearby.

Wax ear plugs from boots are my absolute go to. Nothing worse than people shouting down the hotel corridors waking you up all night after you have been working all day.

I was spending an absolute fortune on Starbucks so I now take my own 2 cup cafitier with fresh coffee. This lasts me a week on tour. And my own cup and washing up liquid.

Plastic bags to make sure no evidence left in the bin. I always remove myself daily.

In the winter I take a hot water bottle so if I’m feeling anxious I can put on my tummmy helps me relax.
