I think newgirl is right in what she was trying to say about every month putting a bit of money away to be able to spend on yourself, whether its a new dress, a night out or jo malone candles.
Its always nice to have something to look forward to and if there is something that you really want to do such as a holiday then it can really motivate you to get your bookings done.

I sometimes feel intimidated to voice my opinions on this site now as there is always someone that is going to take offence to what is only meant to be friendly supportive advice.
Everyone has different opinions so none of us are going to 100% agree on every piece of advice offered on here.

I also think webcamming would be a great idea. I used to do it full time when I was younger, and yes its incredibly boring but you don't have to be anywhere near the punters and will still make decent money.
Obviously it depeneds on how much time you put into it etc but you could potentially earn 100 quid a day at least. More if you have things like private gallerys and movies on your adultwork profile.

I think if you weren't doing this as your ONLY source of income is nerve racking. As a lady who does this and has a civvie job, I can't tell you how sane I am to know I don't need these wankers to pay my bills. Try the workforce one more time. Instead of having friends lie, tell them you were married or in a relationship, and he didn't want you to work. Once you realized he was trying to control you, you left, and am more than ready to get back in the workforce. I just hired a lady who hadn't worked in three years since her autistic son was born, and her bastard husband left her because he couldn't take the pressure. I even gave her a bit more money because of it(I know people with autistic kids. It takes a fortune to get daycare and the special classes and therapy they need). I don't know how true it all is, but I'm a sucker for hard luck stories.

I find touring extremely exhausting. I always treat myself to a little something to make it feel worthwhile. I've just got back from Dublin where I bought a Vivienne Westwood handbag in the sales and also had a manicure and pedicure in a posh salon.
