wisdom teeth and cancelling apointment
« on: 11 August 2015, 09:41:11 am »
So, 5 days ago I had one of my wisdom teeth removed. The pain was doable but yesterday it was getting worse and I ignored my body telling me it wasn't feeling ok anymore. I thought I'd do my two bookings today and would go to the hospital on Wednesday but this morning my saliva was green, I had a foul taste and my first thought was it might be infected.
Called with reception of the surgeon and they told me I should come immediately. So I mailed my two clients on 8.30 AM this morning (one appointment was on 11 AM, the other at 1 pm, telling them my situation and that I'm sorry but I couldn't do the session because of the above. While one was a bit understanding, the other got totally passive aggressive (like mailing with fuck and angry because he took a day off for our one hour session). I cancelled on him once before 6 months ago because of a migraine, and 3 months ago he cancelled on me. He is saying I'm not reliable, and blabla. He suggested I could do the appointment after the hospital but my incall place is a 2,5 hour trip by public transport and I already cancelled the location and have to pay for it as well. Besides, I'm not sure if I can do a session at the quality I normally give so for me it's a no go.

My stomach turned because I greatly dislike this mess with clients and particularly conflicts. Besides, I offer kinky sessions with kissing and I pointed out to him that this wasn't possible now.
Now I feel like I have to make it up to him, he is also insisting on a solution in an unpleasant way. He and I played only once (besides the two cancellations) so he isn't a regular who I would like to keep. But I kind of feel obliged to make it up..

What would you do?

Ignore him and heal.
Anger and sexuality isn't a good combo.
He isn't a regular and is behaving poorly.
Being pressurised by clients can lead to mistakes.

Hope you get well soon.

avery, don't feel bad or threatened.  Your health is VERY important for your business.  If we are unwell in ANY way  it stops us from thinking properly.

This guy has flung his dummy out because he is not getting his way and that is totally unnecessary, I would call him an inconsiderate eejit but that's just me. Don't be intimidated by him.  Guys will try this to go their own way (in all walks of life) but it is YOUR health, YOUR business, YOUR rules !

Why not tell him you will contact him when you have sufficiently recovered and offer him something like 10GBP off for the inconvenience, I wouldn't offer any more.

If I'm honest I wouldn't want to see him at all but at least he can't say you ignored him if you do something like this.
Beauty is nothing to do with having a pretty face.
It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart,
And most importantly a beautiful soul.

Does he know you've had your wisdom teeth removed?!
That's like an operation, and I know quite a few people who have been in lots of pain and really unwell with it!
The last thing you'd want to do is work!
What would I do? Tell him to eff-off, he's got no sympathy for you, he sounds like a prick and not worth keeping as a client!  >:(
Take a few days off and let it heal properly, and don't let twats like that bother you, it's not like you haven't got a legitimate reason
for cancelling!

Thank you for the support. I asked him if he would like to make a new appointment and then he could  get longer play time, but the only date he could come he asked to be in the evening and my incall place does not allow this, also the appointment could only be at 7.45 pm he said, not earlier or later. So really specific, but it's not an option for me so that's  :(

He doesn't sound like a big loss to me.. There's plenty more (and nicer ones) where he came from!

Yet another entitled arsehole, block and move on, you don't need his money bad enough to put up with that shit. Take time to heal and get well soon :)
