I try not to kiss them too much and move on to other 'activities' just to distract them.  It can be hard, sometimes, to try to ask them to rinse with mouthwash, or even offer a mint or gum.  In my mind, this is just as important as any other aspect of physical cleanliness -- you know, when guys show up after being at work all day, sweaty, etc.  However, some guys can be really touchy about this (tough!).  It usually doesn't happen very often as I make a big point on my faq about personal hygiene and specifically mention breath.

I agree, but if that doesn't work...
I'd be upfront and firm and say,
'I don't kiss.'

No other explanation is
needed. If he questions
you, repeat firmly.

Don't get pulled into
justifying 'why'.

If there breath stinks i just tell them i don't kiss.

As there about to leave i drop a hint about there breath for future reference, and it has worked, as i have had clients come back and there breath is more fresh.

I prefer to kiss a client as this gets them harder easier most of the time. x  :)

I hate kissing clients.  It's by far the most disgusting part of the job for me whether their breath is fresh or not, but when they have bad breath AND are slobbering all over my face I really have to grit my teeth and think about the money (literally just did this an hour ago, he was swirling his tongue all over my mouth WHYYY).  In my area I would not make much money if I refused to kiss, so I just try to get through it while of course pretending I absolutely love kissing them.

If their breath isn't fresh I definitely don't do tongue and will just kiss them a bit in the beginning but then avoid kissing for the rest of the appointment.  I have yet to have a client ask why I stopped kissing, and I think they just assume that's my style.  If their breath reeks then they do not get to kiss, and I actually had to ask one client to leave early once b/c his breath smelled like feces and he was licking my entire body.  I couldn't even stand having him breathe in the same room as me.  I had to shower twice and air out the room so I didn't vomit after he left.  Remembering that experience when I have a guy who's just a sloppy kisser or not minty fresh helps me get through it.  In my experience most guys don't have bad breath, although the mint/gum wears off halfway into the session.  Most of them are very sloppy and want to lick my face and do really abnormal things with their tongue.  I try to understand what is going on in their heads when they think I want my makeup to be licked off for ten minutes but I really can't imagine  :-X

One client of mine recently had mild halitosis. I know it's a medical condition, and not necessarily linked to poor dental hygiene, but what bugged me was that my room and bed (and my body) smelled of his breath after he'd gone! I had to reach for the Febreze - urgh! Thankfully we only kissed very lightly and briefly...

I try to avoid at all costs especially if it's a smelly breath... I just concentrate on giving them lots of oral and maybe a pre massage depending on length of booking.. I have one client in particular that likes to lick my face I'm sure he does it on purpose as the other day he was trying to rub my eyebrows off  :-\ ffs...

I do enjoy kissing whilst in a booking and if it's a guy prefer them clean shaved, as i hate kissing up against stubble,it gives me a red chin x  :)

Oh fuck that. I would say "Please stop doing that."

You could ask him if he'd rather you not wear any makeup if you're comfortable with that.

I feel your pain, I have a client whose definition of kissing involves licking my eyeshadow off x

Just yuck! I always use cb12 regardless of if I've eaten anything stinky n feel I need it or not. Better to be certain. Recently though the taste of a clients mouth hasn't been nice when kissing n I've found that sometimes I'm simply not in a kissing mood.
