Cool! Yes I normally ask heaps of questions normally anyways.
Very often the say they see my ad on 'the web' or 'google'.
They don't want the discussion as its meaningless to them.
I don't see guys who mention Viva, Gum as they haven't read my site or know my prices and they're on the creepy side.
I'm not even on those directories.
Thank you for the clarification!
You sound like you don't like him already.
You're right, I just find it strange that he'd put in the effort to write that site when it's not a required field. Anyway, will still talk to him tomorrow and, unless I get a really good vibe, will probably reject him, the risk is not worth it.
Just the other day I had a call and he asked was I available. I asked who he was calling and he didn't know my name. Told him I needed to know he had the correct person etc. so asked where he found my details. Vivastreet. Told him I am not on there which is true. Things went from bad to worse so I told him in a polite way that he wasn't very good at this contact thing so I could not meet him.
He then texted saying am sorry.
He could have been genuine but I dismiss anyone who I have the slightest doubt about. I err a long way on the side of caution and therefore get my time wasted so seldom that it is not an issue whatsoever.
You're absolutely right, it's always better to be cautious rather than to regret anything! Thank you, this cleared my head a bit - feel I've been overthinking things lately but I'll just go with my gut.
I get it fairly often. I normally direct them to my website and then tell them to call back if they'd still like to book.
Yep, I would normally do so as well but the request came through my site, it's just that he said he's found me on one where I don't advertise!
