I've been mostly lurking for a while (great site, wish there were one like this in Canada).   I'm wanting to get into the biz in London but not sure how I want to start. From what I gather, most of you on here are indy, and get your clients from online (i.e. adultwork site).  Do most of you indies work from home, or do outcall?  I can't work at home and basically, nobody I know will know I"m doing this.  So I'm not sure what's best for safety's sake, since I have nobody to check up on me. I have to do outcall until I can afford to live on my own.  I thought it would be easier to just join a parlour first, where I would have some security due to others being around, etc.  but I imagine the pay is better with escorting and worry I'd spend too much time sitting around at a parlour. Anybody have experience with London parlours?  How many clients can one get in a week going indy through sites online? Obviously screening them myself would be safer but I worry that after all the timewasters I may not have that many clients for all the work. So far it would seem an agency is the best bet. Advice?
Now I do know there are some ways to buddy up through saafe and that sounds great but since I don't really know anybody here yet, I'm not sure how well that works?

I'm afraid I have no advice re: parlours as my experience is virtually non-existent. But there is a Canadian website that's useful, I don't know if you know it. It's www.spoc.ca Sex Professionals of Canada.
It doesn't have a forum as such but they have meetings and stuff, so support is provided.

There is an escorts forum in Canada that's open to established escorts. I don't remember the name but it was set up by a BBW called Morgan and some others.

Now I do know there are some ways to buddy up through saafe and that sounds great but since I don't really know anybody here yet, I'm not sure how well that works?

With regards to the security buddy sceme, just have a look at the posters on the buddy link page.

All the ladies that post on there are happy to provide security over the phone. Many of us don't actually know each other that well and apart from message boards and phone convos haven't had any contact.
So just send someone a pm or call them and if they are free they will be happy to be your security.

If you contact Penny on the other buddy page she will put you in contact with an experienced wg, who will act as your mentor on a one on one basis. I did this when I started and have a lovely buddy who I consider a good friend and is a great support to me.

You will also find once you have posted a while that you will develop closer bonds to some of the ladies than others - just go with the flow.
