So my profile is written as a GFE offering, emphasis on connection, sensuality etc.
I mention tie and tease, pegging, gentle domination and I get a proportion of submissive clients. I get asked for services I don't offer such as humiliation or role play and I'll try them if I feel like it but it's not really my thing.

I'd quite like to offer light submissive services, particularly kneeling oral, with a hood on so they don't see my face. Open to spanking, rough handling. But no restraints or humiliation. Just very basic kink stuff, basically.

I guess I'm saying that a proportion of clients ask for hard domination from me, which isn't mentioned anywhere on my profile.
I already get dominant clients (who move during the session to spanking or face fucking) without explicitly offering those services. I've always been fine about stating my limits in session and guiding the experience even in light submission.

Two questions
If I am more explicit about mild submission on my profile am I opening the doors to those who want to try hard submission? Which I don't want to even engage with.

Marketing wise, can a profile successfully contain all three types of offering? GFE, light domme and light sub? Isn't it confusing?

I market myself with a combination of GFE, Domme and PSE, which for me is the middle ground.

I no longer explicitly market myself as a submissive on AdultWork, I have a part in my Q&A section referring people to my work Fetlife profile if they want to Top me. This allows me to get a better idea of their approach and ethos when it comes to kink; as a lifestyle kinkster these are important to me and helps me make a better judgement about my safety.

I had some negative experiences when offering sub services on AW with "experienced"  Doms so now if anyone wants anything more than to spank me barehanded or some throat fucking (my version of PSE) they either need to be active on Fetlife and show their experience or I make them take baby steps throughout several sessions before I allow them to restrain me or hit me with anything but their hands.

"Submissive" clients can be more of a pain in the ass than the ones who spank me!

I think no matter how explicit you are with your ad there will always be clients asking, begging and cajoling for more. I find this more common with submissives personally... I always charge a 50% deposit for a sub as many of them are either flakey or fantasists. Even the good ones may find their tastes become more extreme over time and they want you to continue to cater to them despite their requests being outside of your comfort zone...

I've made friends with a few Pro Dommes and we have an agreement that I send clients who want extreme femdomme to them and they send those seeking a sexual domination service to me. It works out quite well for all of us xx

All I can suggest is that you make it 100% clear on your profile what you offer and equally make it clear that if they don’t read it, it’s not your problem.

I insist on speaking to all clients and I take deposits for clients who want to make an appointment even a day in advance. I’ve never had a problem.

The disingenuous will not pay your deposit or call you to discuss.

Good luck.

These are really good points. I've always shied away from PSE as it has a glamorous or high performance expectation to me somehow. But I guess there is a crossover between mild submission, rough sex and PSE.

And it's true that there are boundary pushers no matter what the style of profile, it just comes with the job.

Glad you raised this because I'm about to add fetish services to my profile too when the rest of the items arrive
Was worried about confusing the  clients
Have you added photos  into your galleries so far or have written info only about your additional services ?

I haven't and it's the photos that sparked this post.

I've got some pictures of me in a hood which I'd love to put up, but they're so sub specific that I worry about skewing the profile style.
I don't really have any domme pics, it's all in the text.

Maybe I should add a couple of domme pics and a couple of sub ones, for balance.

But then would it put off the GFE seekers who are my bread and butter....

And public or private pictures.?? Think I'm over thinking things.

Cgiw :)
I'm going to put in private gallery only the fetish themed shots.
I'll do a blog about it and a FAQ also but that's all.
Like you mentioned it can confuse some !
